Perfectly magical ❤️ My favorite Christmas tradition as a kid was to have a whole big spread of only appetizer foods for dinner while we watched The Christmas Story on Christmas Eve. It was so simple, but was so much fun when we were kids, and our parents made it feel so special. Even as an adult, I still look forward to egg rolls and pigs in a blanket on Christmas Eve 😂

I always love your Christmas decor!! We got our house all decorated a couple weeks ago - the kids were so excited to get everything up! My kids favorite part of decorating is seeing the ornaments - since they were born ever year we buy them a Hallmark keepsake ornament that makes us think of them that year ( ex: something they were really into that year) and then we always buy the Hallmark family ornament that you put a picture in. It literally brings them the greatest joy just seeing the ornaments throughout the years - it’s like seeing how they have grown. When they move out we will gift them all their ornaments they have collected since they were born and we will always keep the family photo ornaments - The picture we put in it is always from Xmas Eve so in my mind I envision my grandkids coming to our house someday and seeing all the pics of their parents on the Xmas tree through the years. We also take a lot of the photo frames around the house down and replace it with Christmas photo frames of the kids Santa visit each year since they were born - its absolutely hysterical bc those first few years one kids happy and one kids Screaming on Santa’s lap. 🤣🤣
Aww I love that so much. They will be so grateful to have those keepsakes. What a beautiful idea. The Santa photos are hilarious. My kids have been pretty cool with it, but I always laugh at the ones where the kids are not having it 😂😂😂

The diy snowflakes were hung with fishing wire and tape. The paper lanterns were hung with command hooks!❤️
