Netflix about to make 6 entire episodes of DTS just for Red Bull drama.
Nope, they won't even mention it in a single sentence, this is extremely bad PR for red bull and F1 cannot afford to lose fans over this. You barely read or hear about in the US press.

This may be completely unrelated; but I see where Adrian had a custom Oyster yacht built. This is a vessel that people buy when they plan long term, world wide, cruising.

I think the only place he's heading is happy retirement after making a legendary run of cars.

He's had a long and storied career, he's not getting younger, if I were him I would be considering my priorities very carefully.
He’s retiring to his big boat that he has made for “sailing months on end” - not doing that while working in the F1 schedule
He not too long ago said he’s still as in love with F1 than he was decades ago, and also said one of his regrets is not having worked with Ferrari and Lewis. Now he has the opportunity to do both!

Please could you comment on the use by teams of Ai to optimize the race tactics of their team. Team have a number of tacticians and software packages in the race to optimist their pit stops and which have cost them the race.
Will the use of Ai in the software give Ferrari and mecades an advantage ? Monaco is coming up, we can all look back at historic tactical mistakes at this track.
Will the use of Ai this year help these teams gain advantage over other teams here ?

The Oyster he has had built is a beauty - but it's a world traveler yacht not a super yacht you pop to after the crew reposition. The actual sailing across the ocean is a big part of the whole experience, but of course does require a big chunk of time. The none compete would give him a nice time frame to explore the world. Well deserved if that is his intent.

Imagine if Adrian goes to Andretti Racing. That would be great and work out with the timing very well. He could probably experiment with Andretti Racing Indy car aero without breaking the F1 Gardening Leave clause.

He will not join because he cant join. he can buy Vcash RB but aint gonna happen. Andretti had so many years to join F1 now that the revenue are at very very high levels he want to join to take his piece of cake while he did nothing for f1.

And generally shows people in a positive light who he interacts with, which is also a good strategy for folks sharing information. His insight that goes with photos is what makes it interesting. The Vegas water pipe fiasco reporting comes to mind. Great work!
Nothing replaces showing up, in person, and interacting face-to-face with people. That's what builds personal relationships in business. Doing things remotely from the comfort of your office just doesn't cut it. F1 photographers need to do their work in person.
Not surprised by Newey. He always said he wanted to work with Hamilton. A great career ender for both of them. And living in the UK vs Italy… Is that really a hard decision?

This is why I hope the U.S. regulations banning non-compete clauses stands. Considering Haas is technically a U.S. based team, I think it would nullify many of their "gardening leave" clauses. Out of fairness to the sport, I think there would have to be a new directive forcing all teams to drop gardening leave.

The Garden clause is only relevant if Newey just wanted to leave. He can leave because of the discourse within RBR, his contract is specifically for RBR Honda power. Remember Fird is supposed to come aboard but the Horner inappropriate issue combined with that gives him free and clear movement

Adrian is going to Ferrari but with Aston Martin & Honda in 26 with the backing of the wealthiest worth the most company in the world Aramco they could through 10s of millions to immediately get Newey out of his contract and the same in a salary so Aston definitely could be in the running , I just think it's going to be Ferrari but hope it's Aston Martin.

They build a strong technical team under Wache, who the REAL LEADER IS. Newey only works part time. Over the seasons Wache has taken on more responsibility. Newey isn’t RBR. RBR has prepared their structure in such a way that they can simply work on without Newey. The man is 65… RBR knew he would retire soon.
RBR understands Ground Effect cars…. Not just Newey.

That’s why Wache was also on stage at the car presentation in Feb…. Wache was renewed at RBR recently.
Antonelli needs to prove himself in F2 first
Worst case is he cannot work until 2027, meaning no meaningful designs until the 2028 car, that is a long time to hope for Red Bull to be beaten. Red Bull will not allow Newey to just walk into Ferrari or Merc or Aston.
Unfortunately RBR cannot keep Newey because they pay VER so much money which was a huge mistake by Horner.
They aren't short of money, the prize money alone from last season is only just a little less than the spending cap. Then there's their mammoth sponsorship deal with Oracle of between $300 and $500m over 5 years. Given that Verstappen is only on about 10m more than that 7 times championship winner who hasn't won a race in close to two and a half year I don't think they're overpaying him.
@@I_Evo That money would have been better spent on Newey now that there is a budget Cap. My guess is Ferrari, AM and Merc are willing to pay a lot more for Newey.
@@Phantom096 Not driver money though. And I get the feeling Newey, at his age, is probably more interested in project and the potential rather than the pay cheque. BTW you do know that driver salaries aren't part of the budget cap. Don't know about Newey's salary as there are some roles included in the salary cap and others that aren't, I believe chief aerodynamacist is one but I'm not sure If that's his title.

Seen the fact that Adrian is building his dream Oyster sailing yacht I do think/believe he'll retire. In the UA-cam clip from Oyster Yachts he's indicating he's already planning trips with the boat when it's finished.

@@parabelluminvicta8380 Rory Byrne is semi-retired and is only working as a consultant. Additionally, Newey's achievements far outweigh those of Byrne (with 12 World Constructors' and 13 World Drivers' championships).
You're only as good as your last achievements so Newey only has to loose. Nobody remembers Byrnes last achievement.

Newey should join Silver Arrows with Max. Although Mercs are great at engines, they seem rubbish at aero. Toto should hire Sainz and fire himself, and Mercs will be ready to compete in 2025 or 2026.
Yes...Newey it's time. I believe AN set the conditions, whether it's Ferrari or AMR the conditions will be Max to go with. (If it's Ferrari LH will only have 1 to 2 years which doesn't give him enough time for a Drivers Championship) which in my view will be the conditions for Max to come in. (If it's AMR Max will leave RB End of 25 which is in line with 2024 announcement AN Gardening Leave) With Honda leaving at end of 25 RB, And for AN to shape AMR with Max, will be the easiest thing to do...but we all know AN is a kind of man that like to challenge his capabilities so if that's the case Ferrari will be more likely to go with. At present it's a 50/50 split and it's we cannot wait to see where he AN is heading until he announce it himself. He is not a man of many words so let's wait and see, I've followed him from Williams when he worked with Senna & Hill and Patrick Head [the issue was when Frank decides to get rid of Hill without consulting AN that's where things take its turn refering to Formula 1 Championship 1997 Book By David Tremayne] to McLaren ect.... AN is a man of values and if as is Max so I think there's a bond between them, the 2021 Race between Max & Lewis you could see how AN cheered Max to take the Championship.
In 2021 AN absence takes its toll on The RB Team and only when AN returns things take shape and towards to end the result, and for Horner to make a statement without AN & Max the RB Team will survive! That arrogance will cost RB dearly, the student cannot out shine the master(If what Horner States PW is quite capable can be true, but if you don't have the kind of driver Like Max it's going to be a long shot! So let wait and see, Max can get things done which other drivers can't) and that is reason enough for AN to put the terms to wherever he is going. Reminder it took MS 2 years before he could challenge for the title and with the MBR which keep certain technology and development away from LH it's going to be an uphill battle,it does not mean he won't be winning races he will, but not Drivers Championship so it makes sense the terms AN will set 😜
Perhaps Big Daddy Stroll is going to sell a chunk of Aston Martin to be able to offer Newey an ENORMOUS salary.

Guaranteed if Adrian goes to Aston Martin and Fernando wins another World Championship then Lance Stroll would still be a back marker . I never like $$$ driven nepotism because it is only used when there is little to no skill. Through my Lens Lance Stroll is damaging the Aston Martin brand, damaging F1 brand and damaging the Honda brand especially when there are about a dozen F3 and F2 World Champions who are waiting in the wings and more deserving with respect to talent than Stroll
