You are so low key when you return the cars....I’d be all, “Look how shiny it is!!! Look how pretty she is now! Don’t get her dirty again! Take off your shoes! Don’t eat in there! Wash it once in a while!!!” 🤣🤣🤣 Seriously though, your work speaks for itself and it looked so good once you were done. PS- loved the engine starting up and the Skynrd at the end!👍🏻👍🏻💜💜💜
I love watching what you do. You’re the only car detailing channel(s) that I watch. You’re always so informative and I can see that you take pride in your work. I’ve learned quite a bit from you when it comes to keeping my own truck looking great. I’m excited for your line of products to come out. I don’t have Instagram or Facebook, but I hope you let us know the info on your products here on UA-cam as well. Thanks for this video, and all of your videos, Mitch. I’m sure you’ve heard this many times, but I wish I lived closer to you. I’d bring my truck, and my boyfriends truck, to you any day. But we live in California. 😪 Take care.
Just followed your steps and using all the products you recommended on my 2005 Toyota Tundra. It took me two days to do it all. The paint hasn’t looked this good since new. I will do all this for my Jeep and my wife’s Mazda as well. Thanks for posting this tutorial.
Finally we get to see this. I have learned so much and it has now changed the way I look at my car. She now get a bath regularly, but that will probably stop for the winter and then pick up in the spring.
Now I don’t have a UA-cam video on paint correction but over my 9 years doing this work I do recommend masking all the trim/rubber and black trim because it’s a pain to clean all those areas and some areas might not even clean up good enough and it’s just a headache you’ll be saving your self from ppl.
Hey Mitch...what a terrific diversion from your regular detail of a farm truck. Interesting watching paint correction and installation of ceramic coating too! Knocked it out of the park with this video. Glad you enjoyed it too!
I love watching this guy, to simply put it, he knows what the hell he's doing...cant wait to see what the detail shop will look like when it's all done...much success to you
Wow! The results look so good! I wouldn't mind giving it a try on my '15 Camry which has never been polished or had a clay bar run on the paint. I'll grab the recommended items and give it a go! My car has been so good to me, bought brand new, 175k, it's gonna be paid off this month, no major problems except a worn gas cap so my girl deserves this type of TLC. Her name is Allison, Parisian night pearl. She's gonna look brand new!
Mitch... you have GOT to get in touch with Larry (you know who I mean I'm sure)... Now that his new shop is up and running you may even be able to get down there for a collab with him. That would rock on BOTH channels... you guys are in my top 3... I won't put links... (this is YOUR channel) but I have about 10 I watch... but you 3 are the ones I really look forward to... To watch you and Larry collab would be AWESOME! Just a suggestion! Why do you not use an iBrid or other small 1"/2" polisher in the hard to reach places?
@@bbnzor BWAHAHAHAHA Not a chance. He did a good job, sure, but after everything they did, I unsubscribed. Even then though, he wasn't in the top 3. The 3rd is a guy over in the UK.. Jim White. But no, it was never Stauffer.

Nice work. I was watching the Outdoor Boys youtube channel and they shouted you out because of your tips in detailing, which means you are doing such a great job!! Keep it up 😀
My black car has those same swirls!! I didn't even know that you could take those off. I wish you lived in Dallas so I could take my car to you and get super shiny like this!!!

Thankyou Jennifer 🥺❤️ people like you get me going through these hardtimes when I have to be with my family while they're the ones making me feel this way🥺 thankyou for being here❤️
I'm currently sitting outside the Dr office waiting for my brother to get out. He's in counseling for suicidal thoughts. Your feelings are real and there's people that would love to sit and listen. I understand that counseling isnt affordable for many people but, if that's the case, when things get too heavy for you, reach out to someone you love and just talk to them. It's okay to open up, even when it hurts. You're never alone, you're never without help. ❤ I don't know you, but I'm glad you're here and you are loved.
You are phenomenal!!!! I wish you were here in Florida, as I would love for you to take care of our vehicles. Ours are nowhere near as dirty as the ones you feature on your videos, but would love to have you do the ceramic coatings as the sun here is brutal on the paint. Love that you take such care in all that you do. Thanks for your videos!!! Also, great outro, We’re Alabama fans!!!
What a beaut! I allotted myself one video before diving into my 50pg homework reading. I'm glad I chose this video🤗... and now I must read🤓... mahalos for sharing this process with us🤙🏽

When you first showed it, i was so confused and tryinf fo figure out what you were showing. When i realized it was the car, i think my jaw fell off. Car was so shiny i could see my reflection in the car through my phone. Car was shinier than ny future.
I really want to get this detail tool in the future, for my waxing/polishing. But I'm also very happy that I came across this video & that there was a lot of info about polishing.
i need to find someone like you in my area, you know, someone that actually takes pride in their work.. ugh so sick of the quick cash seeking scam artists
Good Morning Mitch, thanks for following though and posting this video. This is a good explanation of the science and the process. This is great work and the narration of that soothing voice is always welcome. The mustang glows like glass when you're done. Amazing!! BTW, your arms look huge in this video, your training is seriously getting good results. :)
My gauge only gives you total paint thickness so to get an idea of clear coat thickness I measure the paint thickness on the B-pillar. I was told that this area tends to get only 1 coat of clear (or thinner coats) so you can then use this as a very rough guide when checking out any other panels
Great overview of paint correction and ceramic coating! I want to do this someday to my own car whenever I upgrade my vehicle. Maybe a future video on ceramic coating upkeep maintenance? (If that's a thing?) Also, that engine start for transitioning into the final look and dropping the beat -- perfect.
To maintain the ceramic coating, make sure when you wash your car, you use safe car washing techniques. I use two buckets, one with soap and one with just water. Once I wipe a section of the car with the microfiber mit and need to get more soap, I rinse the mit in the water bucket before soaking it in soap to keep anything from scratching it, that’s how you keep it from getting scratched. Remember, most scratches come from bad washing techniques, so if you wash your car properly, then you won’t scratch it and it will stay glossy. If you want to follow up after a wash, you can use a detailing spray to top up and rejuvenate coatings. That’s pretty much all you have to do.
I had no idea the clearcoat on modern cars was so thin. I think it would better to defer mechanical polishing until there are really noticeable swirls that one simply cannot live with. Keeping the surface consistently clean will extend the life of the clearcoat for as long as possible.
Meguiar’s Compund and Meguiar’s Polish are both great too, but they are all different with different levels of cut and polish. A product that finishes well and removes scratches on one car might not have the same results on a different car
A girlfriend of mine and her husband drive a few hours away and get both their Silverado's ceramic coated every year and drive home same day. Thought about doing that with my Maxima SR but now I'm a bit concerned it's maybe not done right after watching your video?
When you clay do you use the same piece, if you do do you play around with it to get a cleaner part of the clay to work on the next panel or do you use the same surface of the clay to do the entire car ??!

I got here early just to say I still can't believe such a beautiful car was being used on the farm
Use a smart car for a farm vehicle 😂
Horse on a farm? Makes sense to me 😂
The owner didn't have much of a choice though. So it is understandable. It came out beautifully.
It’s a mustang it’s supposed to be killing pedestrians and snapping off fire hydrants not driving on gravel or feeding pigs
@@Willyd2758 at least it’s in better condition than a Mustang that Ran over crowds or knocking out Fire Hydrants
