I'm genuinly not trying to be ignorant but what do you mean by she's not black? I've heard a lot of people say that Dominicans are not black, however people from all the surrounding Caribbean islands are considered black? My parents are from St Vincent just 3 islands away and even though myself and my mother are light skinned we are still "black" if you know what I mean :)

Anni Camara Sunkissalba (creator of this video) doesn't consider herself black. In general to be considered black you have to have African blood in you and while many Dominicans do have African blood she personally believes that she has no African blood in her.

Omg I didn't even realize plain Jane beauty had a translucent powder! I've been looking for one that doesn't have a crazy flash back in pictures. Love their get loose powder foundation so I'm definitely going to pick this up. Loved this tutorial 💚🌻
+Tiffany DeSilva YESSSS girl... this powder is the best one for yellow undertones or all tanned women. most other natural ones leave a chalky or white look thats too un-realistic for my skin color and this translucent one is not chalky after blended

Thank you for sharing. A 10 mins make up Routine or a non existent one is my goal. Your Tutorials are very helpful to get me familiar with Organic makeup. I do find that regular makeup breaks me out and it's very annoying since I'm aiming for flawless skin. So 🙏thank you for taking the time to include all the product names in the description box.

Love this look! I'm a pretty basic makeup, no fuss kinda gal myself. I love all the natural products you use. I'm leaning towards swapping all of mine for organic and natural as well.
I love both of your outfits especially the white dress. I bought a romper that has the full leg and gathers at the ankle; it's a very unique outfit which I love to make my own style. Thank you for the share, I've been wanting to return to Cali so badly. hopefully if I beat my cancer I will be able to travel. I didn't know Shea moisture had a makeup line. I've only over seen their hair products. I'm about your complexion, and I have a hard time trying to find products that look best, with my skin tone. I'm glad I saw this video. Because I'm now going to look in to their makeup product line. Great video!

Alba! i am currently making the transition to natural skincare/makeup ...thanks to you!
You've inspired me to use clean products on my skin. I've always used Dr Bronners soap, but now instead of lotion I use sweet almond oil while my skin is still wet -- works better than lotion in my opinion. (I even use it on my face!)
So that made me really start thinking about my makeup -- I am working on finding a good organic BB cream to replace my foundation. Baby steps! lol. i love it though. It makes me feel good about my overall health and wellness.
I figured -- I care about what I eat and make sure I eat clean all the time, so I should totally be thinking about what goes on top of my skin.

That's actually how I started myself too. I began with food which is #1 priority that should be changed so you're on a good path. After that I slowly started replacing certain items like body wash, conditioners, and oils me skin care until little by little I no longer needed the toxic ones because i found natural replacements. Then I started changing my foundation and powder but still used some bad toxic brands too until I just completely gave away and threw out all the toxic ones and replaced it. It took me over a year to replace all the necessities I use daily.

Alba, you are one gorgeous woman 😊😃 I loved this makeup routine so natural looking and simple. The colors you used aren't over the top, but also very flattering! I've never tried shea moisture makeup so I'll have to give them a try!
You should give us a layout of what's in your Plain Jane Palette. I love this look. I ended up buying some of this because of you. I think I might try the blush in peach though, the copper may be too dark for my skin tone but the other items are perfect for me (well the foundation and concealer might be different colors for me of course)

Thanks Hun! Yes I think it's definitely a personal preference as to what I believe looks best on me. I truly feel most pretty when my face has simple, minimal products and a little radiant glow 😉 but once in a blue, I don't mind a dramatic smokey eye, and lashes :)

I've always loved elevator music!! I also love on hold music when you're on the phone with verizon or the doctor's office!! My favorite is Opius number one, you can find it on youtube, and listen to on call hold music for an hour straight.
