WHY FIRE? / I've had people ask me why I burned a piano in my new music video for "The Fire Within" 🔥. The reason why I burned it was symbolic. I wanted to show that even when there is fire burning around us and chaos and negativity, there is a fire within each of us that can burn brighter. The video shows a fire starting in the piano as it's being played (also symbolizing the impact of music), it gets brighter and bigger until at the end I am engulfed in it and yet I am strong, still playing. The point is that I survived. You can do hard things, because of the fire within each of you. "I survived because the fire within me burned brighter than the fire around me." - JT P.S. The piano that was burned was a very old, very broken-beyond-repair stunt piano that I'd used for 5 music videos. We did not burn a Yamaha.
Ok with the fire inside us but why it is burn brighter? I suppose that yhe fire within burn harder and even darker than the fire in the world . That is how we continue our life with persistence and hatred for thw world so we want to devastate everything with our fire ( excuse me for my english)

As a fellow musician (violin), I am totally on board with how you explained the meaning of fire in your song. There are times when nothing else in this world matters. As we play, we start to feel a stirring mixture deep within that has to be set free. This burning mixture escapes through what we play. Love this video and I hope that others will find the song’s true meaning.

Illumination and the fire within are two of the most powerful pieces for me. The depth, power and melody shine in every way. The videos are very good but for me the songs are stand alone masterpieces. The struggles you have had come through in a kind of victory song showing the beauty within. And that is what God sees - the heart. Lovely lovely music. Thank you.
