+Matthew Birney Can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not... but if you're being sarcastic that is the correct term, "Centripetal Force" is commonly mispronounced as "Centrifical Force".
+seth freeman LOL!!!! omg... no... The centrifugal force is the false force of the centripetal force. For every centripetal force (or any force), there is an equal and opposite force (newtons 3rd law) and this is commonly referred to as the centrifugal force (for any centripetal force). But it is known as a false force... as it only results due to there being an equal and opposite force under newtons 3rd law.
The only ACTUAL force is the centripetal force... however we can "feel" or objects can seemingly react to the centrifugal false force but in reality they are simply following newtons 1st law that an object in motion stays in motion. So if you have keys on your dash... and you turn... and the keys seemingly slide across the dash, its not because the keys are being pushed by a centrifugal force, its that they are simply keeping their momentum and when the car turns the keys continue going (at least partially) in the direction the car was originally headed.
