Loved everything from start to finish. Having suffered with ocd myself, your insights on dealing with anxiety are invaluable. Also, love the idea of having.. an attitude of gratitude. A nice way to be happy. Thank you for sharing your journey, Heather. Stay blessed. ❤
Awww Radha, I’m so sorry to hear you also have to know how deeply difficult & isolating OCD is. I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. But yes, when we can be creative & cultivate light in our minds, that is a remedy for it. Good bless you! 💕
Welcome, Elizabeth! Thrilled you’re here. I love bringing you to my favorite Atlanta spots! Today, I featured Henri’s Bakery, Lucy’s Market, and Boxwoods Garden store. 🌿
Hi Heather! I'm also a maximalist decorator and I was wondering if you ever considered hanging transferware plates on your walls? I have them all over my house and they are little works of art! They really add to framed art and add that round element amid squares.
Hey love! So, the walls that have color on them is Sea Salt by Behr (my studio) but the rest of the house is cream, Edwardian Linen by Ralph Lauren. It’s a GREAT classic cream. Instantly elevates a space.
It doesn’t sound like the lady who messaged you is a maximalist. I would suggest to her that she think about the environments that make her feel calm and happy. She needs to identify that first. Then, fill her home with the furniture and accessories that speak to her. If she doesn’t have the time or decorating confidence to do it herself….well that’s what interior designers are for.
🕊️ you had me at, “Let me dip you down.” 😄❤️ I really enjoy your art. Chinoiserie is a joy to me.
Haha aww welcome! Chinoiserie is such a joy for both of us! 💙

So are your walls all same color? White or tanned?

I think that’s really smart advice, and if someone doesn’t have the bandwidth, always talk to an interior designer! 💕
