Love how half the comments are people saying,"Wow terrible sniper. Shot 30 times before he hit the guy" or "I could do better". Like you for real? You probably could not use a 30. 30. and shoot a target 200 yards. This guy was shooting 1000+ yards at moving targets. Yeah I would suspect he will miss a good bit of shots. And about the people who say that snipers only shoot twice then leave that spot. Yeah thats fucking retarted when you have a A-10 warthog above you and a whole squad or platoon behind you. No point in moving. Its not like the taliban are sharpshooters with an RPG. Stop watching war movies thinking you know exactly what a good sniper is. Respect to that sniper. I could never do that. Sniper could mean "squad designated marksman" in this case. In order to get that you typically need to have been through Sniper school. Unless you are SF or in some other elite unit, if you have Sniper School under your belt, you don't go out solo and pick off enemy forces from afar. You hang with your platoon, provide precision fire when necessary, and act as another element of your squad. This guy is probably just the designated marksman of this squad, and he's doing his best to lay down fire with his weapon. The only weapon in the area that can reach out that far. Just something to think about before you go bashing on the "sniper" for "wasting rounds" and "not being able to hit the broad side of a barn".
Pretty sure the dude firing is on a .50 w/the bolt catch off(single shot). You can hear him release the bolt after every shot, and you can hear the links falling.

Just to give all the ‘Warrior Wanabes’ an idea, this guy is shoot at a moving target that is about 6350 feet away. That’s based off the idea he is using a .308 rifle with 175g BTHP ammo with a Velocity of 2645fps. If you think its so easy to hit a target with a .308, or even a .50 at even 5000 feet you’re deluding yourself. The flight time of the bullet in this video is a cadence count of one one thousand, two one thousand three so 2.3-2.4 seconds, from fire to impact. So yea, way more than a 1000 yard shot, its closer to a one mile shot. Granted the distance is going to vary based on the actual rifle used, but even at 2500 feet per second that is one hell of a shot he is making.
You might want to change the title to this video Funker... First off, that is not an A-10 in the begining... That is either a F-18 or F-16... You can clearly tell by the sound of the engine. Second, that is not a sniper, it is a guy firing the M2 Browning single shot.
That definitely isn't a sniper for several reasons. 1) He is shooting way too much without any hits, 2) He wouldn't be wasting .50 cal rounds like that for nothing, and 3) snipers usually don't shoot from the same place more than two or three times. This guy acts like he's at the range and is just sending rounds downrange with no results. Good thing there wasn't an enemy sniper around.
Fuzzy Ferguson you know little sniper imbedded with infantry could suppress enemy at range in these conditions. The 2-3 shots is Hollywood style solo missions you know jack shit about. Bet you couldn't make it out of SEERS training.
I don't think carrying a sniper rifle is what makes you a sniper, I'm pretty sure it's about distance and whatnot Like, you flip your M16 over to semi, and start tracking your shots and whatnot over that range I'd call that sniping, personally
Thanks for posting this. I'm glad the sniper has steadier aim than the cameraman! Was the sniper using tracer rounds or shooting from a 50 cal MM? Even if it sucks 99.99% of the time to be deployed, you guys seem to be having a good time in this video.
May be these warriors gave defeat to a so called great nation and its allies. Should be shameful couldn't defeat mear fifty thousand with no sufisticated gear💪💪💪
Josh Bell if that's his spotter then he needs fired...where's the distances like feet or meters?? The info you need to adjust your scope or your aiming point...not his spotter...needed one but did fine without.
Little known fact: BBBRRRRRRTTTT!! Translated from A-10 to English is actually “ hold on guys, I gotcha covered. Just let me squeeze in here and lay down a blanket of 30mm sized tools of freedom” According to my Rosetta stone
I'd be embarrassed if I had to shoot that many times to hit my target. I carried a 1:1.4 shot to kill ratio. Maybe they did not have the right equipment or the sniper training I had.
You weren't much of a sniper then, or you would know immediately, based on TOF that this is a really really long range shot on an obscured target... DERP
"hey Craig, let me know when you're going to pull the trigger on the round you hit him. As soon as you pull the trigger I'm going to roll the camera down the hill. You guys behind me yell that he got him so the people watching will know they missed out on some cool action while they only get to see sky, dirt, sky, dirt, sky, dirt....."
+Tejinder Singh Just because you're shooting a "sniper" rifle doesn't mean you're a sniper. I can say for sure this isn't a sniper......to many shots from same position gets you counter sniped
Sniper: Those guys are hiding, how can we flush them out? Spotter: Let me make a call. Hello Warthog? A-10: BRRRRRRRTTTTTTTTT Sniper: Holy shit look at them run!
Colosistvan, I am not American, but Hungarian (that is in the EU if you never heard of) , I lived in Canada for years and loved it, I have many many friends in the USA but all of them are good people and are against of weapons and wars. USA politics=aggression, weapon and fear are the solution. About respect: respect is something that you can ONLY earn but cannot obtain it by power... the smarter, the better, the more peaceful and more cooperative a nation is, THE MORE respect it receives.
I could be a MILES gear analyst for Funker--if you're wearing MILES gear you better watch-out if I'm around; I wasted an entire squad who was wearing MILES gear--ran right up on 'em and let 'em have it--they all beeped to death (that's when I knew I was in the right place--that combat was for me--up until someone zapped me back, anyway). I'd have to be wearing MILES gear, too, or I can't analyze MILES gear--actually, I'm probably not your guy. I have no idea where to get MILES gear anymore, except for eBay and who knows how eBay works.

Ok not going to be a popular comment but that is not a A-10. That gun report is way to fast and high pitch to be an A-10. It’s sounds more like a 20mm cannon on a Fighter, F-18 or 16
Greg, actually I love the fact that you are a thinker and has sophisticated approach of the issue. I can see that you aware of the fact that it is million times more sophisticated nature of thing than the vast majority thinks here. It is not about bad guys (Muslims) vs good guys (Americans or British...) in a B&W World of COD games or movies. Europe learnt the fact that wars in general brings only losses and suffer and pain. USA did not have war on it land (apart from an an army island in WW2)
This is the 2-30th Infantry, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division 2010-2011 near Charkh Combat Outpost Afghanistan. This is not a sniper, this a M2 on single shot.
We'll see how you feel as commercials start popping up through videos you watch. No more quick little blurb, no, I'm talking 30 sec commercials 3 and 4 times in 1 video. I'll wait patiently for your apology.
I understand it might be, but Im not sure if youve used a M2HB allot but to me it sounds like a .50 being racked back after every shot because its on single shot after u turn the selector where the buffer is on the back and it lets go of the sear. Ive been a military weapons instructor for 5 years including using that in Afghanistan in 2010. I've personally used it in exactly like the shooter in the video did when I was in Afgh. Basically using it as a sniper rifle! anyone else?
Hmm HAVE YOU ever used a M2, cuz the ones I used have a double trigger where one is for semi, the other for auto. Thus no need to charge for each round....
the guy holding the mortar with his hand and those two shots smack dab together - I read a passage in a book called an ordinary soldier which describes quite graphically how effective that little tube can be.
Served in both Iraq and Afghan. Never once did we harm civilians. We went out and helped supply food, and medication, as well as stopping the bullies (Taliban). This is from their mouths (Afghanies)

Granted the distance is going to vary based on the actual rifle used, but even at 2500 feet per second that is one hell of a shot he is making.
Pilot: see that building?
Soldier: yeah
Pilot: well i don't want to
You might want to change the title to this video Funker...
Good thing there wasn't an enemy sniper around.
he is probably using a bolt action m29 or l11
Fuzzy Ferguson you know little sniper imbedded with infantry could suppress enemy at range in these conditions. The 2-3 shots is Hollywood style solo missions you know jack shit about. Bet you couldn't make it out of SEERS training.
Who said it had to be a .50?
What is SEERS training? is that like some sort of new thing that lets you look into the future?
I don't think carrying a sniper rifle is what makes you a sniper, I'm pretty sure it's about distance and whatnot
Like, you flip your M16 over to semi, and start tracking your shots and whatnot over that range
I'd call that sniping, personally
Thanks for posting this. I'm glad the sniper has steadier aim than the cameraman! Was the sniper using tracer rounds or shooting from a 50 cal MM? Even if it sucks 99.99% of the time to be deployed, you guys seem to be having a good time in this video.
Sounded like some high cal rifle. It had to be really exhausting to fire that beast with such intensity.
Not really, just a .308.
Josh Bell OK. :-)
Zatracenec a higher caliber would have of had more of an echo and louder sound
Raze_Marcus OK. It was just a pure guess. :-) So it´s good to know. Thank You.
"YOU CAN'T JUST KILL THE WARRIORS OF ALLAH AS IF THEY WERE NOTHING"
"Haha a10 wathog go BRTTT"
May be these warriors gave defeat to a so called great nation and its allies.
Should be shameful couldn't defeat mear fifty thousand with no sufisticated gear💪💪💪
Those guys, literally have defeated the United States and its allies in Afghanistan.
Christian and KKK are same. Changed my mind

Great post. It's good to see someone posting on the Internet who actually has sense.
I’d love to see what they see. You never see the enemy in videos like this
That's a good sniper considering the best advice he got was "a lil bit up" and "to the left"
That wasn't advice, that was his spotter telling him where to aim.
Josh Bell if that's his spotter then he needs fired...where's the distances like feet or meters?? The info you need to adjust your scope or your aiming point...not his spotter...needed one but did fine without.
Michael Matthew I have no experience in this but I think they have trained so much together "a lil bit up" is the same for them.
Salpeteroxid always a possibility
Michael Matthew maybe it was just a foot up or something and the sniper knew where it was and it was just a comment.
this video is the definition of
your gun goes: pew pew but mine goes: BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRt
shooting trees?
+Helder M Taliban trees
+Moto Rad hahahahhah
+Moto Rad Love you
Raharison Dan Love u 2 bb
0:48 did you see the bullet?
I hate the fact we still have Americans in these countries. Bring those guys home.
That's your opinion.
hold the camera still
xDDDD
the shakes
its hard tohold it stil when youre in a dangerzonde haha
It a GoPro on his helmet
I bet they te probably already pooped their rags
Little known fact: BBBRRRRRRTTTT!! Translated from A-10 to English is actually
“ hold on guys, I gotcha covered. Just let me squeeze in here and lay down a blanket of 30mm sized tools of freedom”
According to my Rosetta stone
Mike Hancho and Taliban have control now over 70% of Afghanistan .... lol looks like you failed
Where was the A-10. I love that plane!
1:07
Cool shot
What's your connection with these videos? Every video I saw is awesome. These guys got balls of steel and I couldn't give them anymore respect!
DERP
its an clearly an mg he's firing. every 5th round is a tracer, something a sniper wouldn't use.
Raymond....if you were a real sniper you would convert that ratio into a fraction.
Fucking beautiful!!!!! Thank you guys!
You can actually see the round flying at 2:23
another video where you see absoluty nothing. just like securitey cameras.....
Hey Dipshit it’s not a reality tv show their not gonna have huge cameras with huge zoom to see what’s happening and show the kill
Speed, grace, agility, poise, the A-10 has none of these. But it kills any and everything, so that's ok.
the A-10 is truly deadly but not allways in the good way
YEE HAWW! GIVE 'EM HELL!
"hey Craig, let me know when you're going to pull the trigger on the round you hit him. As soon as you pull the trigger I'm going to roll the camera down the hill. You guys behind me yell that he got him so the people watching will know they missed out on some cool action while they only get to see sky, dirt, sky, dirt, sky, dirt....."
cant see anythng
love that sweet sound of A-10 and that lovely sniper shooting and killing shit
It looks like they’re shooting backwards in time - black and white target, coloured firing position.
that's some poor shooting... i find this pretty disturbing...
+Weasel ATF He was a marksman not a sniper
yeah, i agree. took so many shots off for a sniper
+Tejinder Singh Just because you're shooting a "sniper" rifle doesn't mean you're a sniper. I can say for sure this isn't a sniper......to many shots from same position gets you counter sniped
+ozzy1351 just a long range guy right?
HydrogenNuke Marksman is the term
Leave that country alone
+Gerardo Cuevas If you're okay with terrorists like the Taliban running it...
+Gerardo Cuevas *Make us.*
+Gerardo Cuevas Then maybe this country shouldn't have harbored and supported the people who killed over 3,000 American civilians.
+King Grievous Are you in the military?
Alex Almansoori I enlist this March. ;)
"I got one, I got one!" *a little silence later* "BRRRRRRRT" good luck confirming that
Sniper: Those guys are hiding, how can we flush them out?
Spotter: Let me make a call. Hello Warthog?
A-10: BRRRRRRRTTTTTTTTT
Sniper: Holy shit look at them run!
Didn't sound like an A-10 making that run... sounded like an F/A-18. Good guns all around, hope the good guys in the video made it home safe.
Plane doesn't sound like a A-10. It sounds more like an F-16, F-18 or something in this class.
That A-10 sounded like a flappy explosive fart LOL.
The fart of death.
My teacher always says, "there's no loser in Jihad, either you celebrate victory, or you will drink wine in paradise"
I have no idea where to get MILES gear anymore, except for eBay and who knows how eBay works.
the 111th air wing of the pennsvlvania national guard is another base that has been flying A-10's fighting in afghanistan for a long time. love those deadly birds.. that pilot might be 111th..
USA did not have war on it land (apart from an an army island in WW2)
it helps in figuring out the exact bullet trajectory .
The lack of focusing skills is maddening.
One shot, no kill, another shot, no kill.. shot 37, you got him! wind and elevation..
This is the 2-30th Infantry, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division 2010-2011 near Charkh Combat Outpost Afghanistan. This is not a sniper, this a M2 on single shot.
I was wondering it sounded strange to I thought it was a Barrett 50 !
It looked like the cameraman was falling asleep the way it kept drifting to the right for no good reason.
Atleast the 'cowards' are the ones who get the chance to go home to their families.
We'll see how you feel as commercials start popping up through videos you watch. No more quick little blurb, no, I'm talking 30 sec commercials 3 and 4 times in 1 video. I'll wait patiently for your apology.
Am I the only one who thought it was fucking awesome to see the sniper bullet fly through the air?
You see the arch on those shots man, thats a hell of a shot.
i keep telling my COD friends that bullets do drop and they dont just keep going and going and going in the same straight line
For every 1 coffin sent back to the US/UK or other NATO nation, there are usually 20+ Al-Qaeda/Taliban coffins going with it.
Thus no need to charge for each round....
the guy holding the mortar with his hand and those two shots smack dab together - I read a passage in a book called an ordinary soldier which describes quite graphically how effective that little tube can be.
the cannel logo looks like a combination of the counterstrike and the faze clan logo
Served in both Iraq and Afghan. Never once did we harm civilians. We went out and helped supply food, and medication, as well as stopping the bullies (Taliban). This is from their mouths (Afghanies)
I don't even wanna imagine for once being hit with A-10 warthog bullets.
You don't think the Taliban would use A-10s and incredibly lethal sniper rifles if they had them?
If so, I've got a big clock in London that I'd love to sell you...
enemy just dying tired
