Hi Jackie! Thank you so much for highlighting the seas as I often feel it is overlooked in epcot. I actually work here as part of the animal care team. That fish with the yellow belly is called a sailfin snapper. The black botched ray that ate lunch with you is named Ariel, named after the moon not the disney princess. Spiracles on sharks and stingrays allow them to breathe while still sitting on the bottom not moving. Not all sharks have them, such as our sand tiger sharks so they have to constantly be moving to breathe. I hope you had a great time at the seas!
Oh my gosh Laura thank you so much for commenting this and also thank you for the work you do with the animals! I love Ariel, I am going to look for her every time now 🥺 I love learning these things and we all appreciate what you do so much!! 💙💙💙
Hey Jackie having a wonderful time with friends hanging out today with some coffee ☕☕ relaxing day this year try my favorite place to have lunch to have it my restaurant this week this is Jenna Dabao had fun
Coming back to this video as I am currently eating at Coral Reef Restaurant on my first day as an Annual Passholder! Glad you highlighted this one Jackie. The food here is very, very good!
That shark is a tiger shark Jackie this is Jenna Dabao had fun summer amazing great things today
That ray is hanging out with you because you have good energy. Seriously. When I lived in Pensacola there was a fish (I called him Barney) that used to always swim around me when I went in the ocean. I could feel the love! One time when I was floating he jumped through my legs. True story, have witnesses. 🏖
“Tank you! Sea you later!” Jackie you are so “punny”!! 😂🤣 We love that pavilion!! Thanks so much!!!
Being a CM in the early 90’s I would spend all my free time at Epcot Center. My absolute favorite was Future World and even at one point had the whole Living Seas video spiel memorized.
When l ate there with my daughter and grandsons years ago, the sea turtle stayed right next to our table for the whole meal. Such a great memory!
Fish tanks are so serene. I love living seas!
Jackie is entertaining, informative and so nice. Love the videos. Thanks!
My wife and I love the Coral Reef! I got shrimp and grits there a while back and it’s still one of my favorite meals ever!!😄 It definitely gets a bad rap. Thanks for the tour of the entire pavilion. I could spend all day in there!😂 Watching your videos always puts me in a good mood. Thank you so much!
We all get to pick a restaurant when in Epcot and mine was the Coral Reef….we were all mesmerized by the fish ,loved it…What there’s dinner too ! Thanks for the great review on the menu, it’s great place to hang out, watch the Rays ,Sharks and Divers feeding them…it’s often a out of the way place….and the way you nailed the updated menu and dessert was perfect…thanks
I would sit there all day just watching the fish it’s so relaxing. The food looked lush as well
what an amazing video. you are the best Jackie and we all love you. Congrats on 100k, so deserved and looking forward to 200k.
Great video Jackie, thoroughly enjoyed watching on a chill Sunday morning :-)
One of my favorite places and I’m
So glad to see your experience was awesome too! We had the Ray hang with us during our meal as well! ❤️🐠🐢🦈
I think I’d feel weird eating seafood in front of an aquarium, LOL! Another great vid, felt like I was there.
It is a little weird 😂 but it’s not the fish from the tank you’re eating at least.
@@SuperEnthused and I think that white fish with the black dot and yellow belly is a Sailfin Snapper. Used my Google Lens Search trick. 😜
We were so surprised how nice it was and the food was good. Thanks for sharing
This was really nice to see the whole pavilion and the best review of coral reef I’ve seen . I appreciate that you enjoy different foods and describe them well . My family have great memories of watching those diving presentations too so glad you added that in .
I always forget about that place so thanks for the reminder. It’s so relaxing & beautiful to be able to have dinner w the undersea brethren😊. 🦈 🐬 🐟
Excellent job with this one Jackie! I’ll bet the sting ray stayed with you because of the great vibes you project, and she felt it through the glass.
The Living Seas is wonderful. If one looks hard enough through all the Nemo-isms, it's one of the few places in Future World where you can still get a glimpse and feel for the EPCOT Center of the 80's and 90's. Still, we miss the Hydrolaters, Sea Base Alpha, and the preshow - "Our Living Seas" - presented by United Technologies...
The food looks so good , also the salmon dish looks really good , I can’t wait to go tomorrow!
Happy summer, Jackie! It's such a great season and I love the longer days and the bright, warm weather! Also, It looks like you made a new ray friend! I love how he or she stayed with you for most of the time!
Thanks for sharing. Glad you had a nice time.
We've done the coral reef every time we have visited since 1989. :) It''s a great experience for sure. Glad you showed this, I always love the coral reef.
I know so many families love it and it doesn’t get the attention it deserves!
We loved the Coral Reef restaurant. Combined it with their Disney on Broadway Series during Festival of the Arts in 2019. Wonderful food.
Beautiful ! As always great job sharing your experience with us! Love your posts!
Jackie I enjoyed your video , I never been there so I enjoyed your tour loved the tanks very interesting ,I love the picture of you in the Sharks mouth, your a born natural at what you do , God bless!
This is hands down my favorite restaurant on property and I love how much you are enjoying the sealife, Jackie. The bottom feeder that looked like the ray looks like a Plecostomus. We used to have a small aquarium with some in there but they were tiny compared to that big guy. This ocean girl's heart is happy. Thank you!
Hi Jackie, so pleased you got to eat at Coral Reef for the first time ☺🙌 I love the decor as you walk in & its just so beautiful inside. x
That was so cool how the Ray joined you and became your dinner companion. Who knows, maybe it just wanted to hang with you for a while. It sure made for a unique dining experience.
Another great restaurant review. 👍
This video was so exciting! It's been almost 17 years since I've been to Epcot.....memories unlocked like crazy😊😊😊
I've been wanting to eat here ever since the Full House Disneyworld episode!!
I ever knew of this restaurant, I will try it next time I go to Epcot. Thanks for sharing 😊
Loved the video!! The Living Seas is one of my favorite pavilions & I love Coral Reef!! I always visit the manatees, but I didn’t know about the dolphins upstairs! Next time, I will go up to see them! ❤️ Thank you for a great video!! 😊
I love going into the Seas pavilion. It is such a blast from the past from the original Epcot I have such fond memories of, and a very liminal space.
We've dined at the Coral Reef several times over the years to celebrate special occasions (and to get a much needed break from the summer sun) and although it is a bit pricey, the food is always good and the tank view was always a big hit with our kids. Thanks for the video!
Hi Jackie! Thank you so such for the update
Woo! Always excited for a new vid!
Yay! This one took forever to process so I’m glad I could finally release it! Hope u enjoy! 🌊
So pretty and the waves painted gave it such a nice vibe. Loved how that ray just came and joined you. There is something about Aquatic Animals that is so serene. I like a lot of fish but, I do like the clown fish.
Hi Jackie! Glad you enjoyed your meal and now that is a great setting for any meal. I grew up in the 80 & 90’s going to visit Disney world when we visited our grandparents in Florida. My parents didn’t have much money but enjoy Disney to this day and pack food in and rarely eat on property. But we did eat at this restaurant for our wedding reception back in May 2001. My husband was still very new in the navy (3 years then) and I just finished college. It was a beyond memorable evening for a reception. The wedding was at the pavilion. Back then it was very affordable and easy to pick whatever you wanted to do. Thanks for such a fun and thorough video.
Ate there in 1992 with family--never changed a bit. Great place to eat, and the key lime and pecan pie's were to die for!
Coral Reef, what a beautiful place, the meal look really tasty and the underwater aquarium made it a really fun way to enjoy your meal. Thanks Jackie, really enjoyed this blog. From your No. 1 fans downunder 🇦🇺
I don't think I've ever seen anyone review the Coral Reef restaurant. 😳 Thank you Jackie!
Figured this whole pavilion deserves some updated info, a tour and some love!
Thanks as Always!
I ate there in 1989. I remember the butter being molded into a standing Mickey Mouse. I loved the "20,000 Leagues Under The Sea" movie exhibit as you exited the pre-ride theater. And I particularly remember the huge Tiger Shark they had in the aquarium.
Oddly enough, I had never heard of this restaurant before. Thanks for showcasing it and teaching me a thing or two. Reminds me a little bit about your recent snorkeling expedition, but without the cold water, monsoon rains, wet food, lightning storms, and 5-mile hikes in flip-flops.
Hey the beautiful Jackie got some good soft music playing on this video and some awesome scenery with the pavilion:)
What a life yall live, thanks for taking us along
Thank you for sharing Jackie you are so beautiful love the little glitter on you really do appreciate you giving love to the Living Seas. Your awesome 😊👍
What an a amazing experience! 💖
Hi Jackie!! I’ve heard mixed reviews on this place and I’m glad to hear your feedback. I love watching the sea turtles 🐢. I could spend hours checking out that tank. Love your videos 💜💛💚
So have I and I’m glad I tried it for myself and also tried a new menu item! I never trust others reviews and honesty most of the ppl who have reviewed it said up front they don’t like seafood (which is fine) so it’s already not going to be a review someone who actually likes seafood will find that useful. I love seafood so it’s a different perspective.
Thank you so much for featuring the Seas pavilion. You did a wonderful review. My husband and I watch your channel often. We love your enthusiasm and information. ❤ Thanks for doing what you do.
THANK YOU for the review of the Coral Reef, Jackie! This place was my parents' favorite restaurant in all of Disney World, and remains one of the most overlooked restaurants throughout WDW to this very day!
I really like your video edits, putting a montage to music in the beginning and end. Also, cool restaurant, I wouldn’t mind waiting for food while seeing the aquarium. Very cool!
Very good video. Enjoyable.
Lol Ray was waiting for the food review. He’s like “yes I am exec chef here ty”
I’ve had dinner there several times , the atmosphere is very nice and the food just ok !! I’d still give it another try !!
I remember 10 years ago when I was there last and I remember the dolphin swimming up to me at the window and it made me so happy🐬 and I love how they take care of the wounded manatees and dolphins ❤️
Waaw that’s really beautiful.. thanks for sharing and enjoy..L👍
The nemo ride will always be one of my favorite attractions there, I hope they actually do not change the ride, I had heard they were going to redesign that whole area, but I love the way it is!
Hi Jackie nice to see you 😊 we ate here years ago enjoyed the food and the atmosphere was awesome thanks for sharing as always your excitement is amazing
Looks so cool!
The glitter under your eyes looks great. I love your videos. Some of my favorite were Gatlinburg Tn. Keep up the good work.
I think you nailed describing it Jackie...it takes a good kitchen to know the difference between 1) a sauce 2) a marinade or 3) a glaze. I find that most quick turn over kitchens misuse the use of a glaze and pile on a thick sauce instead. I'm so glad you got a pleasantly surprised meal and thank you for sharing the beautiful scenery.
Was the meal pleasantly surprised or was Jackie pleasantly surprised? 😂
We have done the dinner and show package using the Coral Reef and have always had a great meal.
Awesome vlog !!
This is so awesome😀.
Thank you so much for this!!! We ate there years ago and never understood the terrible reviews, now I wanna go back!
Love this
We once had dinner at the coral reef when my kids were little 4&5 (they are now 21 & 22). It was the last reservation and we were the last table. All the waiters took them up to the glass and explained all the fish. It was awesome. Since than we eat there every time. I don’t remember if the food was good or bad, but the experience was AWESOME
Great video Jackie. Sometimes it's like you read my and Kay's mind. We were just discussing that very restaurant. We started to go last time we were at Epcot but got distracted and went elsewhere. Now we'd go for the ambience alone. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your life and join in on your adventures. We are always excited when there is a Super Enthused video to watch after a Long stressful day. You're the BEST!!!
There are just so many good choices at EPCOT, it hard to stand out for a restaurant tucked in a back corner. Thank you and Kay for being part of it and always kind and caring!!
@@SuperEnthused You are more then welcome. Thank you for being so down to earth and approachable. You always make us feel welcome and special and we thank you for that
Hey Jackie, my wife and I really enjoyed meeting you at The Seas the day you made this video. I have enjoyed watching for a long time, your videography has improved so much over the years. You do a great job keep up the great work.
Awesome I love it
I wasn't looking forward to eating here when we were at Epcot last. Glad I was so wrong. This place is great. Food was delicious and watching the aquarium was a relaxing. My family really enjoyed eating here!
I have great memories of my mom taking me there as a kid, usually when we went places my brother would come too or more people, but one of my favorite times was may mom took me alone to Epcot to spend the day just the 2 of us, and we had dinner at the coral reef it was really a great memory that came back from watching this.
Once again a great video review, I haven’t been to the coral reef restaurant in years. But we thoroughly enjoyed it when we went. The aquarium is a great place to cool off. My sister and her husband are visiting Epcot for the first time today. They have never been to Disney World at all. I just text her to remind her that she could cool off at the Land and Sea pavilions.😎👍🏻💫✨
TOTALLY TURTLE CRUSH AWESOME …GREAT PRESENTATION & NARRATION as always Ms Jackie
So many fond memories ..of the Sea Pavilion 🪸🐙🦑🦐🦞🦀🪸
I enjoy the Coral Reef Dinning experience ..Done both lunch’s and Dinning Package 🪸🐙🪸
Take Care ..God Blessing over you 🕯🕊🕯
Congrats on 100k!
Im new to your channel and i really love your energy!!! The first videos i watched of you and sam was the Disney cruise vlogs and i truly loved your videos!! Thanks for the great content
Looks like a very nice place Jackie! I like how there is an Aquarium in there too!
Very cool!
I never planned to eat there because of some reviews but after this video, I changed my mind. Thanks for the info. Stay enthused 😀
Coral reef is one of my hubby and I'm favorite places to eat, I hope they still have the grill octopus Asa appetizers it is soooo yummy. I love that big tank and the seas is one of my favorite places. Thanks for going there . Keep up the great job and remember fish are our friends
Hi, this was nice. when we went in vacation in May, I forgot about that restaurant, we ended up eating at Garden Grill, which we loved and took pics with characters. Coral Reef restaurant looks nice, hope to try it on next vacation in 3 years. I Love the Nemo ride and aquarium. We looked at the aquarium for an hour, it so great. Thanks. Enjoyed, Be Safe Take Care ❤️
This is a really great part of epcot
the food looked great and I love aquarium s
I’m going scuba diving in La Jolla tomorrow & this video is making me so excited! I hope I see a sea turtle 🤞😋 great vlog 🥰
@@SuperEnthused thank you!! It was awesome! No sea turtles but tons of fish like sheephead, garibaldi, and kelpfish 🤓🤙 have a great week!!
Lovely video! That salmon dish is similar to one at Grand Floridian cafe. It is one of my favorites!
Ahh yes I love the Grand Floridian cafe salmon dish too, forgot about that!
Another great vlog! Loved the vibe. This place always had very mixed reviews. But you could say that about any theme park restaurant I suppose? 🤷🏻♂️😂
I really enjoy your videos. I booked a polar explorer broom at alton towers after watching your tour. Thanks x
wow amazing .
Thanks for showing weary parents of young children a place to cool off, entertain and educate. The restaurant is also one place that I have not been to---informative video
Love your edits in this video! Spectacular 👏🏻
I do enjoy your puns so very much 😂
Thanks for sharing! ☺️
Also… who wanted to go to that restaurant after they saw it on full house? 🤣
I used to work at my local big city zoo and worked with cownose stingrays and southern rays as well as white spotted bamboo sharks. Rays are always my favorite! They are so smart and very clever. It's been known that rays can perceive color on different spectrums than us but I would have the same ray splash me every day I came in to the exhibit because it recognized my inflection in my voice and my dark blue shirt. Rays are very clever and sneaky lol I also use to collect their "teeth" (plates from bone used for shredding/grinding food. They fall out over time and get replaced by more plates) they would fall out in the sand and you could collect them if you knew what you were looking for!
I really enjoyed that you talked about sustainability in your salmon dish! 😋 I preach eating sustainability not just with seafood but with ingredients that are found all over the world. Being responsible with our foods is the best way we can support natural habitats for our wildlife friends! :) thank you for the video, it was great to be reminded how cool ocean life is!
Coral Reef is a must do for us when we are in Epcot, I gotta get my shrimp and grits. However I always feel a little twinge of guilt eating the seafood while looking at the beautiful sea creatures. 🦐🤣
Exactly my thoughts even though I eat fish usually. Its like eating burgers infront of a cow
