WHY GARIMA’S POV
Garima Goel is a public figure for the past 15 years where she has donned many hats in the media industry ranging from Anchor producer in ABP news for entertainment section, Entertainment head for Times of India group channel Zoom tv , Group entertainment editor for Sahara group.
Post her stint in media world, Garima moved on to the corporate side of film-making which is Viacom 18 Motion pictures. She worked as a senior brand manager in the movie marketing division for 2 years handling projects like Paramount pictures MI-GP, Jack Reacher, The Dictator, Madagascar 2 and a lot of Hindi film projects like Boss, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, Tanu weds Manu, Gangs of Wasseypur etc.
During her corporate job behind the camera, Garima realized her love for being infront of camera, not as an anchor this time, but as an ACTOR.
So she went to Barry John Acting School where the famous Barry John taught her acting. He is the teacher of the likes of SRK, Manoj Bajpai and Richa Chadha to name a few. After securing a top position in her acting school Garima ventured into the big bad mystical world of acting. She had beginners luck where she worked in movies like Lipstick Under My Burqa, Jai gangajal, Shamitabh, TV shows like Tarak Mehta, Pyaar ka dard, CID, Adalat , Agent Raghav, Baalveer etc She also did a lot of ads but nothing to her hearts desire and content.
Garima wanted to make a mark in the acting world, but casting couch propositions and last minute replacements in big films and TV serials as a leading lady broke her emotionally. It also lead her into depression.
Garima faught hard and during her therapy sessions, the idea of starting a UA-cam channel came up. So she started her journey as a youtuber along with her dying acting career.
Today Garima is a storng voice in UA-cam community with more than 4 million followers on her channel Garima’s Good Life. She started her channel with the intention of helping upcoming actors and people who wanted to join the glamour world. Garima did a successful 50 episode series called ‘How to become an actor’ on het YT channel which was a huge success. She even realized that common people loved her shoot vlogs which have garnered millions of views on her channel. Hence, it was time for her to bring a fresh POV on the glamour world and decode it for her millions of followers across social media platforms.
In all these 15 years, Garima has been on all sides of movie and TV business. So her knowledge and experiences make for an intriguing and engaging PODCAST session.
Just because bollywood celebs are portraying new standards...doesn't mean thy r ethically ryt ...everything is about emotion...how 1 person carry his emotions it varies from person to person...

The biggest thing which we should not learn from Bollywood is the love life and the whole concept of marriage which they follow in their real life not in the reel life ...
Anand sir said that Bollywood is changing the married life and giving the acceptance of step brother step sister mother or father or whatever relation the two individual are in and in the end he said this is a good change but I feel it's not a good change at all it's an absurd change taking place in the society which is shown as good ...
Married actor actresses usually don't have the self control because they have give a short with that deep intense feeling that lead to generation of some kind of feeling for each other despite being in a married life and then wife or husband when entered on the SET then it certainly becomes awkward for the actress or actor after saying such things still they said it's completely professional chemistry I thought How it can be just professional even if they have been caught red handed in the same room seen by other co actors or journalist ?? And how that marriage can survive when your spouse is already have created a small soft corner for someone else ??
It's weird very weird and it's just way to justify this because at the end this two individual sitting on the SOFA they have to return back to the same industry that's why they are giving useless reasons to proof it justified ...
Secondly it is not at all changing the society for good as they said in the podcast it's just killing the ETHICAL and MORAL values that we were carrying from the centuries ...
It's really a high time to be aware and not to follow this so called superstars blindly ...
Di you should invite different people on ur podcast so that they can tell their experiences

After hearing all abt bollywood I wanna say my story that I belong from normal family but I wanna make career in bollywood but m 32 nd while trying here I m facing so many issues in my home coz when u try ur career here u need to practice lifestyles like celebrity nd I live with my toxic relatives with small mind people nd my dad is too strict but I can manage my dad strict behaviour any how but I live here in small place with big the problem coz while trying in acting career u need to happy coz there is so many issues in film line and along with that if u have issue in personal life then u gone mad , I also left my job for career nd now it's been more than 4 nd a half year nd if i wanna live out somewhere then I have to leave my dream nd need to do job for paying rent so for my dream i left my job nd for that dream only I have to do job for paying rent outside coz I can live there in peace happily alone not here with so many people in small place nd adjust nd if I'm not staying happy den one day I become ugly nd who would give me work in bollywood leave abt bollywood in personal life too any girl wanna look beautiful

Remember one thing what you have said is toxic is only appears to be toxic to you like you said that toxic relatives and strict behaviour of your father ... Whatever they are saying to you about the acting line about the life of actors or actresses may be harsh but that's the big reality ...
You are not only the one who has left her job for the career in bollywood or tv industries their are thousands and lakhs of people who did the same thing as you did to try their luck or hardwork in bollywood and tv industry but very few of them achieve that position literally very few apart from those few people more than 95 percent of people never achieved that recognition in their life ...
