- I got a full new set of SHAD SH36 panniers, with a SHAD SH39 top box for my brand new Benelli TRK502 X.
This was an easy job and I thought it would be good to show others how easy they are to fit.

I'm so glad you put this vid on here. I am picking a red 502x next Saturday and didn't really want a metal box system. Now I know the Shad brackets fit the high exhaust. Many thanks 👌
Yoy are Welcome. They really are easy to fit. Do you have the same ten model (2019 version) or the newer 2020 one? Would love to see pictures of luggage carriers fitted to your red bike.
Im getting the 2020 one, better be or theyll be trouble. I won't get any panniers till lockdown rules alter as it seems pointless if I cant tour yet but when I do I'll bear you in mind.
Very helpful. Thank you from Arizona, USA.
Hope it helps - I really enjoyed fitting them and they still look great on the bike.
Hi, I was a bit disappointed that you did not show how they looked on the bike when you finished.
I have loads of photos on the written review - cavemanreviews.co.uk/shad/
@@CavemanReviewsUK Thanks, they look great 👍
Grazie per il video, rispetto per te biker. Saluti dall'Italia❤
Wow - We have gone International! We love Italy and we hope you use the Shad Panniers on long, beautiful coastal road. Ride safe my friend.
Any possibility of a link to all the things in this video. Thanks

Why install such a small top box
More than enough room for the helmet and did not want a huge box to buffer or spoil the look at the back end of the bike.
Thanks for posting this. Ok, not super technical but it is always really helpful just to see it being fitted. Am looking at Shad for my Tiger Sport - not keen on the Triumph cases and the mounting hardware on these is so much cleaner than Givi, SW Motech etc. Hope you've been able to put them to good use. Cheers!
Thank you for the feedback - I always love hearing that I hit the mark.. They are amazing and make my bike look great. There is so much room in the boxes - a full size helmet fits in the case (so my pillion does not have to carry her helmet..) These were the first ones I have ever fitted and the ease of doing it was level 1 (ultimate beginner level) so simple, no one would ever need to pay anyone to do it for them. I do not ride the bike with the cases on all the time and the clean lines of the bars makes it sppear as if there is no system fitted at all. I think they are still great.
Thank you very much for showing us your video. Today I picked up my new bike, with the suitcases of the same model as yours, but they have not explained to me how to remove or put them. I thought I would have to leave my new motorcycle all night on the street, because where I keep it at night I do not have enough space with the suitcases on the motorcycle and thanks to what I have seen in your video I have been able to remove them and store my motorcycle in a closed garage. Thanks to you I will be able to sleep and be calm. Thanks a lot
Glad I was able to help. I hope you get many miles of enjoyment and fun out of them.
Hi thank you for the video. I have purchased the same top box but sometimes find it hard to clip the red holder when set at the highest position. I lift the cover to the max but it is not enough to allow me to push the red clip. Sometimes it works and some other times I struggle. Does ist happen to you too?
Mine is working perfectly. I rarely remove the box though. Yours might need the base plate repositioning? Make sure that it is flat (no bulges.)
Should've used some thread locker.
Good point!
Thank you very much
You are welcome, I had great fun fitting them and they worked an absolute treat!
