- Hello Friends! Welcome back to another video! In today’s tutorial, we’re going back to basics with a super easy split design. The color scheme is inspired by the Shabby Chic home decor style (which I totally love!) 😊 This cup is definitely perfect for spring!

Do you only sand your cups before you start if you’re going to be using spray paint? I’m about to start tackling this new hobby but not sure when I have to pre-sand the whole cup or not before I start. You’re my motivation to start this and it better be as easy as you make it look or I’ll quit. 😆 Love love love your videos and cups! I swore I’d never start this but you’ve changed my mind. 🙈
Ahhh I'm so excited you're going to give this a try! I always do a light sanding to prep my cups no matter what. Doesn't have to be too intense, you just want to scuff up the surface a little!

Thank you! Yes! I do! I usually list cups on my website shortly after tutorials release (unless they’re claimed before then) and I do RTS drops here and there as well. Those include a few designs I haven’t done tutorials on 😊

What was the clear sheet that you used when layering the letters? I’ve never seen anything that vinyl doesn’t stick to like that besides parchment paper.
It’s actually the clear backing from my white vinyl!
