- Jinhsi's weapon is absolutely absurd!!! There really is no other alternative when it comes to the amount of damage she gains from it.

Did you not pull for Jiyan or Yinlin? I got very very lucky pulling for jiyan, yinlin and yinlins signature and have like 130 pulls left. (F2P)

needs is a stretch but makes them a lot better (which is how it should be) is more accurate
A big part of Gacha games is about enjoying the esthetics, have all the characters with their weapons gives you variety, and if there is content in the game it makes it "feel" good, because your characters have a purpose. The best way to play in my opinion is BP + lunite pass with the occasional top up, this way you don't get denied anything and the game doesn't become too easy

I’ll have around 240 pulls by Jinhsi’s release. Planning to get her, her sig and some sequence nodes when she drops.
sequence nodes are only for noobs, pull other characters instead

the problem is i already have 2 5star broadblades, permenant and jiyan's weapon. so a 3rd broadblade doesnt seem optimal

I will maybe do 1 multi to try my luck at her weapon banner and thats it I will use Jiyans weapon for her.
And for Changli I will choose the 5 Star Standard sword because it has Crit %

i might have misinterpated what you said, but isnt the BP weapon atk%? Thats not as bad as dmg% considering atk% buffs go kinda hard.
He did mispeak "DMG buff" instead of "ATK", but... That's not the real problem here.
The problem is that, in order to obtain said buff, Jinhsi needs to deal basic or heavy attack damage 5 times, but she is UNABLE to do so during her enhanced state. (Since her basic attacks are converted into skill DMG)
Her weapon seems much more universal after the update too since you just need to intro and skill to get all the benefits. It’ll probably be very good on a lot of BB users to come.
Imagine next BB users focuses on basic attack and liberation damaged and you pulled for this 😂

Surprised you discussed the standard five star as an alternative but not jiyans weapon. Thats the one i considered as an alt. How much extra damage can we expect from sig vs this one?
Jiyan’s weapon isnt that great for her outside of the crit damage sub stat. The passive on it doesn’t work on her as once she reaches her ascended state all her dmg is considered as resonance skill dmg

Yes Jinhsi’s broadblade is good on every broadblade user due to the crit rate stat, and % elemental damage bonus. If you don’t have a limited 5 star broadblade yet then defientely pick this one up.

I accidentally got her weapon and now I'm wondering if I should pull for her. Her gameplay is insanely fun, but I was planning on saving for Changli and Camellya, as I don't exactly love Jinhsi's design

Yess just like genshin there are character reruns so someone like jiyan jinhsi and the others will come back in future updates

For stat stick, yes 12% damage bonus + crit rate.. But 2nd passive is useless for jiyan
I will pull for her weapon because it is beautiful and having crit rate will be good anyways for my Calcharo and Jiyan even if the passive is not that good for them.

same for some reason, I am sitting with all crit rate-dmg per piece,and 3x energy + 3x flat atk + 2x atk% + 3x skill dmg% + 2x liberation% + the rest hp/def
low roll on crit rate tho, with total of 58% including the 4cost crit rate.
I had to explore the whole game to get enough pulls but finally got her the weapon 😭🔥 she's unstoppable now

@@ErenJeager1789 calcharo razor can work just for the stats, but having crit rate and a passive that is 48% better is just huge. But of course spend in reason.

For the raw 5 star stats you could. But jinhsi doesn’t work with basic/heavy attack % bonuses. In her awakened state, all of those are considered “skill dmg”

yes it will be his 2nd best weapon behind the standard banner weapon lustrous razor, but jinhsi weapon is a better investment because it will work great with all braodblade dps
Thats fair but im basically f2p and calcharos weapon had her nuke one of the holo bosses(idk exact name) like where'd his hp go. I thought my game was broken 😂 But I'll think about it!

yeah, I'm getting her blade for Calcharo. I hope the weapon pity carry over, i'm 71 pity in Yinlin's weapon banner, it doesn't seem to want to come early, so i just need to get astrites in 1.1 and get this broadblade instead.
If you do get Jinhsi, getting her signature weappn isn't a bad idea. But if you don't have Jinhsi, I don't think there is a big enough gap between it and the standard 5* to justify it, especially since the standard broadblade's passive is pretty much handmade for Calcharo.
(Unless you are just going for the aesthetics, I suppose, in which case... You do you.)
PS: before pulling for weapons or dupes, I recommend looking at Prydwen or Iamrivenous or some other content creator with some reliability for damage comparisons AFTER the character and weapon is released, in order to see how impactful they are.

I got 160 pulls but am going for Jinhsi and Changli, don't really care for the weapon as much. I'll try some pulls on her weapon, but otherwise will use Autumntrace until her rerun
thats not good you have to use ur credit card otherwise your poor characters will wither and die without their signature weapons

Calcharo’s most dps isn’t in his resonance skill

You are getting a 36% dmg bonus on all attributes and a crit stat for ascending it. It is for sure bis for all broadblade characters rn, even if you arent getting the extra 24% when using resonance skill. The thing is: it is the bis so far because we are lacking options, jiyans is also an option but not as good
The wise decision for those who trying to main Cal is to wait honestly, we cope for broadblade that can boost his basic atk and resonance liberation
I feel like I am gonna pass this because I am still coping for broadblade with basic atk and reso lib boost. Yes, I am Calcharo main that's why 😂

Verdant Summit as her 2nd bis, looks surprisingly good on her aesthetically. If you are f2p and have already pulled Verdant Summit for your Jiyan, I'd suggest skipping Jinhsi's weapon banner.

Its just me but for nuke dps their signature will be always a must for me especially if the weapon have critic rate, everything else is just cope.
Went to pity for Jihnsi and lost the 50/50. Did a 10 pull on the weapon for fun. Got the weapon. Now I need Jihnsi. Grinding here I come.
