Thank you very much, very helpful.
On a different note, research show that a distributes load line on the center of the load block yields accurate enough simulation in comparison to fully modeling the load block.

    hello,
i have 16 plies and I need to add a 0 thickness cohesive interaction/ element between each of them, is their a way to do that instead of creating my plieas as separate parts and assemble them like you did here in the minute 18:00 ?

hi there, please update if you find out. I am also looking to solve a similar problem. Thanks

I have a problem with 2 unconnected regions in the model. How should I fix it?

Thanks for the toutrial! It was helpful ☺️
I have defined a cohesive interaction for interface of composite_adhesive of a scarf joint. When I apply adhesive damage properties to contact, it works but when I use composite damage properties to contact, it doesn't converge! Actually the reaction force goes up rather than to fall! I have no clue why this happens and be grateful if you give me a hand

You might need to be carefull in using value of K (stiffness you put for cohesive surface). The default value in many case dont work. You need to use smaller K value

Your boundary conditions are wrong, you can't lock all rot. Dof.

That't why you need to watch the whole video to understand. That is the point of the video :)
