Will Ratelle is a gem. Knowledgeable, rational approach to training and very straightforward, no fluff bs in his delivery. His channel is an absolute goldmine. This was a great one guys. Thank you!
I've done Will's Next Level Program (which he discontinued?), HOSS Program and HOSS Olympic program, and, with every single one, I saw insane results in a little less than two months. I'm doing his HOSS Olympic now, and, while his HOSS made me put up some dope numbers, HOSS Olympic made me the strongest I've ever been in close to 2 decades of training, it's almost absurd! His approach is so damn simple, but is so, so effective! Thank you guys for this podcast! 🍻
Gave this a like before i even started watching. My two favourite current S&C coaches having a sit down. I can only imagion this is gonna be a great 50mins
38:45 - on the example of the dude who can back squat and deadlift a ton, but can't jump to save his life : He needs to spend time jumping, not getting weaker. The reason he sucks at jumping is because he doesn't train jumping, not because he is strong as an ox. He can funnel that giant neural net he has attained through max effort training into becoming a great jumper, if he so chooses, while keeping hit max strength where it is at, or at least close to
People that would advocate for dynamic correspondence are just ignoring the fact that strength is real and strength matters. You can tell me a guy who can hit 225 on Bulgarian split squat is a worse athlete than a guy doing slide board cossacks with 35lbs. Also go UND baby!!

As a strength coach with 100 plus kids (football team) kinda hard to get a one on one assessment….
Ten days 10 kids at a time 5 days 20 kids at a time :)
