This appartment looks really nice.. But if the internet is too slow, it can be a "problem" especially if you work from home. You asked so many questions to the landlord/agent, till you even verified yourself the internet speed .. in Nigeria you have to "shine your eyes". Well done Bayo ;)
Another great video, definitely a nice apartment. $5k per month is very high. It probably marketed towards expats. $60k per year!!!, this money can buy a flat in Lekki.
$5000 a month is insane. Honestly you could rent a big house on the mainland for 2/3 years for one months rent. Look for quite estates on the mainland. Areas like Magodo are good and fairly central too.
@@mscontinental3150 Awwww. Did you assure him you would visit soon again? It's amazing how happy children are in Nigeria.....in spite of all the hardship in the country.
Nice video, but just a bit of advice, always check the water for temperature and water pressure, I would also flush toilets as well to see how good they work. By the way your wife always keeps your daughter in the most beautiful little dresses 👗😍
@@thenigeriannomad A house like this should not be morethan 500$ in a month on long term rent, according to the productivity nature of Nigerian economy.
Nice video.. love the tour, but is it just me or the bathrooms just looked odd. For $5k/month, they should just kill me already. I'm moving back in Mar, and rent prices are already giving me a heart attack. To imagine that $10k can barely rent an apt for me in a nice area is just disturbing. Why don't you rent annually, rent in the VI areas for a 2 br goes between N6 to N10M depending on location...haha. Super expensive too but sure a lot of savings from $5k/month. Anyway, awesome video Bayo..Keep up the good work.
Nice apartment, is it an Airbnb or rental or for sale? Good amenities too, I like the kids pool- that’s were I belong since I can’t swim lol. Can you share the cost? Knowing Lagos I’m sure it’s a lot!
Thank you Bayo. We are thinking of coming to Lagos at the end of December early January on Holiday. All the nice information that you share is so helpful. Your should consider being a travel guide.
I have watched your video on the best Internet service. Nigeria is stressful and dubious. The reason why the WiFi goes down and fluctuates or slow, is probably because the service providers are trying to molest their customers. They want to take advantage of the fact that most Nigerians are not yet rich enough to buy into their products, and yet they have to compete with rival service providers. Let me illustrate: when mobile phones first came to Nigeria in the early 2000s, they looked big and expensive. It was after they started becoming more common that their prices began to come down so that they now became more affordable. Most service providers want to molest their customers and also wait until their patronisers increase in number before they are now ready to give what may be regarded as affordable and efficient service. This is molestation. This is what I have observed and that is my sincere opinion.
Are they mad? 5000 per month? That is nonesense nah. This is what I hate about naija oh. They can over hype nonesense. I live in Vi i live in vi.. In this nonesense for $5k per month.. Crazy.

its crazy high and ridiculous. I am having to come back to re comment. UA-cam removed all of my responses when i converted to a brand channel. UUGH.
