- Reb Beach performing Black Magic at the Carnegie Science Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on 6/16/2012. Reb kicked off the opening of their newest exhibit called GUITAR..the instrument that rocked the world. He played an hour long clinic/storytellers style show as the weekends main featured guitarist. Great show from an awesome musician!

I don't think anyone underatted his ability to play guitar. Winger as a band just wasn't that popular and they came late to the hair scene .
Reb really has my attention in this wonderful internet age. Back in the day we were subject to what ever mainstream media gave us, and all opinions were formed as a result of very little information. Reb FIUFIFHIFFing rocks.
Kirk......watch and learn and maybe some day you can be an incredible guitarist like Reb :-)

Ashamed to say i never got into Winger,but always remember Reb in the guitar magazin adverts.Man,i missed out.This song is one of the catchiest tunes ive ever heard.

This dude will kick Kirk Hammett's ass any day on the guitar.
Most of the people making those comments don't know what they are talking about. It's what you write and how you fit into your role as a guitar player within the band that counts. The Beatles never did anything flashy not even once but their music utterly destroys all these 80s hair band guys with their fast guitar players. Hammett played great parts and gave a fantastic feel to the band which is worth much more than Reb Beach did in fucking terrible bands like Winger with their super bland music.

Metallica and Winger are both in great what they do. While Beach stays on top of the game, metallica lost its passion long long ago.

Custom made Suhr, an exact copy of his old Pensa Suhr axe from his 80s Winger days. 1 of 2 Custom RB Suhr models. The other is flamed maple body with a replica of the Voyager pick guard on it.
Some of the main licks sound like Joe Satriani.
