Me and my girlfriend went there not knowing anything or expecting anything and we returned with one of the fondest memories of Ljubljana and Slovenia, it truly is a hidden gem in Europe! Amazing video, guys! :)

A lot of cities are underrated, unfortunately, because most of the people are going to Barcelona, Paris, Wien ! I prefer the small cities because offer a better idea about the place and an awesome experience!
Best pizza I had was in Ljubljana 1982. I was stationed in Italy and met my grandparents who were on vacation in Ljubljana. They were born there and moved to America after the war. It was still Yugoslavia back then. I hope to go there again one day.

I moved to Slovenia (Ljubljana) from Germany. Best decision ever. Quality of life is much better, wages are the same, except the prices of real estates are ridiculously high, higher than in Germany. I truly wish it stays underrated so less foreigners will move here🙏
If it starts to blow wind in Ljubljana especiallly in city center, there will be rain in 30 - 60 minutes.... 10 years ago you could set your watch by it but today with weather change its only about 85% accurate...

Apparently she used many antiquated terms that she learned from her parents around 1912 to 1920. Slovenian could understand her but said she spoke like they had a long time ago. The language had evolved. We're planning/ hoping to move to Ljubljana later this year!
Where did you read that three bridges, the side two were added because of the traffic? :) There used to be a bridge, but first it was caught in a fire and then the earthquake happened, after that the work didn’t move forward because of the war and then one of the most renowned Slovenian architect Plečnik tried to find a solution for it so the trams and the pedestrians could walk freely and since his ideas were always unique this was one of his solutions, amongst other things he did in Ljubljana. Nice video though :)

But if I were to point out just a few then you got our biggest national library NUK, graveyard Žale, football stadium, etc etc., he basically renovated Ljubljana at that time. There's a house in Ljubljana where he lived and is now turned into a museum. A lot of his work can be found in Prague as well (castle area) and in Vienna. You can find more about him online also, if someone is interested. With pleasure :)
I suggest you to visit lets say ten places (also some more remote) and make a video for each 😉 I also know some beautiful spots.... (just an advice, hope that you don't missunderstand). When this horrible epidemic ends (🙏 hope that soon), I think, every journey will be priceless... Regards 👋

@@SammyandTommy It is all about travelling and experience. My experience was awful there. They even called my Spanish friend a "gypsy" in few situations. I was disgusted. And then, travelling to Asia and Africa opened my eyes. How wonderful people can be.

Of course there is no guarantee for all if this, but nice Octobers lull one into a kind of state when you feel that it would be so nice if we had this type of weather, with warm yellowish light forever.
