Thumbs up for PART 2, comment below 👇which tries would you like to see
Such a good video. Please do another one. It’s pretty much rugby porn
@@YTho-ev1ej
ua-cam.com/video/KHfb0oRmJXk/v-deo.html this one, I think there isn't a better one
At least 5 Finn Russell passes
Try to do one with tries from countries other than NZ and Aus, or is that your target audience?
You can add Dupont's offload in the France vs Italy of this year for the next one
I would've thought Dillyn Leyds offload against the Chiefs would be on here, that is the definition of an assist being better than the score
Was waiting for that one, half of these are just little pop passes in the tackle
@@Juust_Chad_AKA_Cereal_Killa I just dont understand how you have the AUDACITY to try that, there is no way he saw JP Marais, he just tossed it out and prayed basically and the commentary for that is legendary
@@jackcunningham5605 he definitely didn't see JP Marais but that is mainly because his name is SP Marais. 😅
@@StevenMervis Sorry, I was thinking of JP Pieterson, I realised that mistake as soon as I typed it 🤣🤣🤣
Two classics missing: Campese setting up Horan for a try in the 1991 WRC semi against NZ.
And Larkham splitting the NZ defence then throwing a long pinpoint accurate pass onto Sterling Mortlock's chest - I think that was in the first half of the year 2000 "greatest game ever played" at Sydney Olympic Park.
You have to respect the skill of the kiwi players. Just another level. Aussies also superb at handling. And Japan have started to develop it too.
Totally Agree
Not a single Russell pass :(
Some content is copyrighted and I can't put it in the video. I promise that I will put Russell passes in in part two
And Danny cipriani:(
4:45 is what I'd call a forward pass, but reading some replies, apparently it just isn't anymore now
Where the SA teams assist from Morne steyn in the bulls fassi in the sharks .. Elton , frans steyn there were even some good ones by the Pumas and The Griquas.. and then the famous Am and Mapimpi try the Marx and faf try against Japan i can go on and on😂
His videos are very new zealand themed 🙃
@@jdjordaan9943 Thats fine i dont mind that ,his obviously a NZ fan .. but to not include SA is kinda spiteful and tasteless, not very Rugby like of him in my opinion 😂
@@Ken-xr2hm oh I totally agree with you, I was hoping he sees my reply and maybe we will see more Springbok content in his videos 😁
Hierdie ou is n kettiekop man.
@@jdjordaan9943 Oh you do see Springboks content, its only that they are on the receiving end every time. Just another one-eyed Kiwi.
0:24 Brilliant pass from Sean Stevenson
0:20
Lovely soft hands from Cruden and a blinder by Stevenson..loved it to date 👍❤
Was waiting for Dillyn Lleyds against the chiefs, and Duane Vermuelen against Wales (2015)... also Am's assist to Mapimpi is basically the most underrated assist
4:45 how can that not he forward? The player's static and the pass goes 2m forward!
TMO says it's TRY
Its hard to judge passes in real time, if its slightly forward refs just call it flat or backwards out of the hands lol
The overall direction is actually irrelevant, the only thing that matters is how it came out of the hands. Still a question mark though...
BTW, did you see in back play how O'Connor got smashed after he threw it?
@@alexanderjones405 lots of cheap shots like that nowadays, sadly. The hand direction rule to my understanding is because of a players momentum as he's running forward, and the inertia of the ball. However a static player has no momentum and the ball has no inertia.
The player was not static, he was moving forward , not full speed but not standing still. The rule is not on the ball or direction only anymore the rule states that if the player's hands are moving backwards as the ball leaves the hands it is not forward, if his hands move forward as the ball is leaving his hand then it is a forward pass. Which is fair because I implore you to try and make an object move forward but your hands have to be moving backwards as the object leaves. Not possible unless you have momentum.
I managed to go see round 1 of the Super Rugy AU with my mate at Suncorp, Reds v Warratahs and there was a cutout pass there flew for easily 30 metres, thing of beauty
Kieran Read to put in Savea vs England at Twickenham in 2013 or 2014... that was one of the greatest.
Would have loved to see the Toulouse try against Racing in the 2019 HCup quarter final
Great video, often the set up is better than the try
yeap
Am & Mapimpi try in the World Cup 2019 final? Love it every time
I love it too I forget it I will put it in part 2

Other differences between rugby's touch laws and gridiron;
You can be in touch, reach back into the field of play and bat or kick the ball.
You can be in touch, jump up, catch the ball and then land in play.
As the ball carrier you aren't only looking around for support, you're listening too. What you want to hear is someone saying "with you." You want them saying it, not yelling it. If they have to yell, they aren't close enough.
George North try v Georgia in RWC 2019. Check out Tomos Williams' assist!!
What soundtrack is this is in the background? Please tell.
Love rugby
4:41 looks forward to me.
What league are these from? These are amazing. I’m a British rugby league fan, so don’t see much Union, but have to admit this is amazing!
4:51 is hella forward lmao
Didn't know only Australia and New Zealand teams assisted in rugby
More flare than the Northern hemisphere 🤷♂️
@@Kelz_vee tbh norther hemisphere rugby is just pods smashing themselves and some fullback doing a curved run :v
Northern hemisphere teams are basic 👀
@@FREE_SKAPA9 still made it to the final tho 🤷♂️
No they don't, they just do it better than the rest.
Such athletes.
The assist is not better than the score, it is part of the score, no matter what the sport. No assist, no score.
Yea in rugby the assister is more the guy(s) who made the great play also. The scorer is more often than not just in the correct positioning and a beneficiary.
Why would anyone considering putting a dislike on this vid !🤦♂️🤷♂️🤟
Dear Mikey I am Glad you enjoyed
Northern hemisphere more than likely because there was a lack of penalty kicks
@@shane1899 I mean south Africa won the world cup off of penalty kicks but ok ok keep your prejudice ideas.
@@carrot5610 doesn't change the fact that style of game defines northern hemisphere rugby
@@shane1899 doesnt really, that generalizes the nothern hemispheres play. it'd be like saying the whole of the southern hemisphere just runs hard and chucks it wildly about like fiji. south africa typically have relied on kicking to win games and new Zealand with dan carter have often kicked as well. the only team actively going for kicks would be wales and even then with biggar off for thats rare. scotland kick over and search for back field weaknesses, france run and pass the ball much more now, england run continuous phases until they find a line weakness and exploit it. it really makes little sense to generalize it too "NoRtHeRn hEmIsPhERe JuSt KiCkS"
Weber and Perenara World Cup ? Although the try scored was insane
8:56
If I were going to guess I would say an Australian produced this video
Guess again
You mean a reds fan
No a New Zealander, half of them are New Zealand super rugby, mind u crazy shit happens in those games all the time
What’s the name of the song in the background?
Trauma by N'To (Worakls Remix)
Barret to Mulder skeder in 2017 against boks or even barrets threw the leg pass against au in Japan 2018
Song pleaseeee? Great video
Trauma by N'To (Worakls Remix) - ua-cam.com/video/lPVBrRd9wCo/v-deo.html
Think this lad is from the Southern Hemisphere ey
What I was thinking exactly hahaha
I think that just happens to be where the best rugby is played.
@@jameswyatt8593 nah
Not from South Africa or Argentina though.
Sonny Bill ..takes out three defenders💥
music?
Best spot in the world
Does anyone know this song?
If you have a video about the greatest assists, but don't have Jason Robinson skining the entire Welsh team, to pass to Greenwood to score just before the line in 2003 RWC...... then you don't have a video of the greatest assists. Majority of these runs are amazing, but not a single Welsh player even layed a finger on Robinson that day and was arguably one of the greatest runs EVER in a game of Rugby. It was also a try that put England in a final. Please put that in part two haha!
Demo McKenzie one of the better assisters, passing to team mates for the try.
Falta la de Barrett a Nehe Milner- skudder. Nez vs sud
The assist is very often better than the try
Napier boys high school ✊🏽⚡️🌪
7:54 Hooker
James O’Connor is a mate of my
Song name?
Trauma by N'To (Worakls Remix)
It’s like the video has never heard of Finn Russel or DuPont
Just put every Finn Russell pass on here
One video summing up why southern hemisphere rugby is the best in the world
You mean when the assist is better than the finish. An assist is part of a try.
so basically just a reds highlight package-
Pom's pass to aki v Italy?
Billy proctor
@Rugby Beast
✋🏻✋🏻
No Dylan Leyds... No Am and Mapimpi? Fraud comp👎🏾
long pass isnt really a try assist! @1 min ok with some exceptions!
What is it then?
@@GGRUGBY hmm i think continuous play eg player to player close quaters (5m?) otherwise whats different from a long pass to a cross kick? again as you point out no official definition
Sonny bill king of offloads
Where is the chistera of Baptiste Serin versus all blacks ??
You can see this is done by a ausie or kiwi 🥝. There no South African tries here not even one . And we are top 3 , currently world champs .
You didn't play for 1 year and a half lol
@@MapsCharts gottem 🤣🤣
Northern hemisphere ?
Yet you miss this one ua-cam.com/video/KHfb0oRmJXk/v-deo.html
You do realise Rugby gets played outside Australasia also, yes?
Hola wacjooooo
No Finn Russel
Like half of the clips are reds
If I post your vids on reddit do you reckon you'll get copyright strikes?
We hope we dont get get any strikes
@@GGRUGBY I won't post it then lol, keep up the good work
Whyis every clip on fast forward?
I know you southern boys think you're the only ones who can throw wild passes and offloads but a bit of Finn Russell in there for diversity would have been nice.
When did the SH players say that they were the “only” ones to do wild passes??? Did they say that. 😂 stfu and stop talking sh*t 😂 and stop being salty. If ur gonna cry about not getting any NH plays in it, ask the person who made this vid 🤦🏽♂️ Damnn Northern hemisphere fans gotta cry about everything 😂
NH-1
SH-8
Very good but and it is a but, the NZ teams pass forward... Alot
Looks like I rewatched it
There is one area the southern hemisphere are far superior and that's offloading.
I know SH rugby is offload galore, but there's some very slick passing in NH you missed out on. Cipriani has been throwing some absolute magic tricks and this one from Brock James is just magical: ua-cam.com/video/yT4i8Gs5gAk/v-deo.html
Thats really good pass I haven't seen I will put t in part 2
No mothers hemisphere teams except the one and the assister was still kiwi. Wow must be boring rugby up in Europe
