That accelator pump in the top hole is the biggest squirter, move it down is smaller squirt

Yes I noticed that too. Default setting (top most) on these carbs is Richest setting, and in most cases a black cloud appears in the tailpipe. I move them to the bottom most always and everytime it clears up the exhaust and improves get-up and go.
