Wow!!! I really wanna play this!! I got samurai warriors chronicles on my 3ds and I love it. I grew so attached to all of them and was stoked when I realized they used to be actual people. :D so happy right now
I can't believe I'm gonna say this: I believe I'd much rather wait for this game than _Lightning Return: FFXIII_ . I'm a bigger history nerd than I am of a fantasy nerd.
They haven't added a new character for the Tokugawa and please, add Naomasa Ii and what you said about Nagamasa, more must come because we want to see what they look like in the 4th installment.
DW42536387384 The Tokugawa already have the semi-new Naotora Ii, Takatora Todo and Munenori Yagyu. That's more than enough. I think the last new character will either be part of the Toyotomi or one of the minor factions like the Maeda or Azai. Looking forward to his and Oichi's new look though.
Naotora was a new character in Samurai Warriors 3 chronicles as well as Todo and Yagyu, which historically, Todo wasn't loyal to Tokugawa but the Toyotomi and Yagyu wasn't faithful but only a swordsman, which most don't serve daimyo. I will still say, they should add Ii as a new character and that's it because the game has too many to put in.

But yeah, it really does depend on what Koei does with the characters who didn't really serve a daimyo. Like say.. Magoichi or Musashi. Takatora and Munenori would be in a similar boat, but who knows they could either put them with a clan or do something different. I mean they just put Gracia in with Motochika/Koshosho and i can't say i was expecting that.
Koei makes a lot of confusion with which character swore allegiance to. Now, Dynasty Warriors was kinda strange because for example, Zhong Hui and Deng Ai were not actually Jin characters but were historically, vessels of Wei, which at the time, was beginning to fall apart. In Samurai Warriors, brought more confusion a lot like for example, did Yukimura Sanada sided with the Takeda, Sanada or Toyotomi and all we know, he is faithful to his clan name. His family members served Shingen as vessels but his clan weakened after Shingen's death and after Sekigahara, he fought alongside the Toyotomi, not for the other clans protection but show Ieyasu how capable he was as a warrior, who would die until the very end, which he did in 1615. This goes to show, no one knows which character swore allegiance to. Very confusing indeed.

IndraEMC they don't do the story EXACTLY the same. they add different perspectives. like in this one, we now get to see different parts of the story that were missed in previous games. you're just generalizing the series.
DarkAdonisVyers sengoku series also based on Fairy Tales, even though the characters are real (historical figure) but the story could be somewhat fictional.
What the f***? The gameplay looks pretty good, but they're not showing me enough in these trailers. Still gonna get it, but these trailers kill my hype.
