Do we have to be in the same WiFi network to get the updates?

No. Once connected, the targeted device just needs to be connected to the internet to update the data on the website.
Same WiFi not necessary
You can monitor on mobile
With 1 plan you can only monitor one device, so you will have to buy 2 plans to monitor 2 devices
