I actually think 2020-2021 Steph was more impressive. The 2015-2016 season, teams hadn't quite figured out the best way to approach defending him. 2020-2021 Steph was doing it against a league who already adapted to him. Man was torching everyone regardless.

True even tho this season he was one odd long slump of games from deep. Wether that was due to coming of age, the anxiety of breaking the record or building muscle... who knows. Regardless no one remembers since he killed it & top off the season with finals win/FMVP when matter most. 🔥

@@NateT092 I actually think it might have to do with his college degree. He graduated from college this year, so he was studying and writing essays. As soon as he graduated right before the playoffs, he suddenly stopped his “slump”

@@lik7953 Yeah a lot was going on in his personal life. I think we might see Steph put up 30 next season and dominate. He always come back better tbh and I’m sure he wants to shoot much better all around, and finish a little better as we’re accustomed to seeing? I think Steph’s going to dominate the NBA and average 30, 7 and 5 in 3 QTs again on his usual 48/43/92 shooting splits. Hopefully he can get MVP, and win another chip!? That’d put him as the GOAT PG no debate! 3 chips without KD is crazy and it can’t be ignore. How many did Magic win without Kareem? None 🤷🏾‍♂️

In terms of this fact alone yes, but in terms of play and ENTERTAINING, absolutely not lol the game just seemed so much easier to him this year. Shooting 30 ppg at 50-40-90 and making the craziest shots I’ve ever seen him hit in his career in terms of difficulty, not to mention almost all his shots in 2016 was contested. He just seemed like he had more of an IT factor in 2016 he seemed way more aggressive like he had something to prove. First Unanimous MVP for a reason 🔥

Curry and the GSWs are the only reason I began liking the NBA again. He's got the craftiness and killer instinct I liked watching in the day. He actually breaks people ankles, unlike most other players now a days who push off like 3 times during a drive to get defenders away from them. Doesn't stat pad. And is actually a great person off the court without being a media attention hor.

It was obvious the entire year he wasn't just the MVP but a full few steps above anybody else in the league....it wasn't even a hard decision for him to be unanimous. Even though MJ and LeBron could maybe argue they deserved it I think what was amazing about that year was nobody had every seen anything like this before. It was absolute wizardry even for die-hard Dubs fans....it might be the most electric sporting performance over a full season in the history of sports tbh.
The great tragedy of that year was losing the Finals. That said, it was easily the most dominate regular season and playoffs (up until the finals) by any single team and player ever IMO.
