Just a general comment here, and I know other folks have also made similar observations. I have been looking at all sorts of 'planner' and 'planning' videos for a while now, and I keep coming back to your channel. Why? I have observed that over the course of your channel history you have continued to refine your method and system, eliminating anything that is extraneous to achieving your goal of staying organized and achieving all of your goals. For me, this really caught my attention. I can look at your later (latest) videos and know that this is a distillation of what works. And when I consider all that you have to manage (busy Moms have obligations and schedules every bit as demanding as the most elite corporate powerbrokers) then I know that I can take your system/methods (in whole or in part) and have them work for me as well. This is an approach that is focused on planning and portability. Something that will alleviate stress and increase productivity. It is not 'scrap booking' crammed into a planner binder. Scrapbooking has its place and is a worthwhile creative past time, but it isn't something that I'm looking for when I seek out how other folks use their planners, whether they're A5 Filofaxes, half letter discbound notebooks, Bullet journal notebooks, or personal sized Filofax or Moterm organizers. So I'm using your videos as a series of tutorials. The question often becomes 'I wonder how Amy handles this kind of information?' And most of the time I've got the answer at my fingertips!! So a big shoutout to you, thanks for sharing your planning journey with us all. It's made an impact!
THANK YOU so much for showing how functional your planner is. We love on a budget and I get so excited and encouraged to decorate planner too much, and I honestly just need to have something more functional. You showed a lot of great ideas that I can start using in my planning routine. Thanks!
Since it's the end of the year, I'd like to know how you archive old inserts. If you could make a video with this topic. I really like your planning system.
Loved seeing your set up. Happy to watch anything you fancy sharing. No need to feel you aren’t qualified to share stuff, would love to hear about anything planner/organising related from your experience. Wishing you a lovely Christmas & wonderful 2022
Thanks for this. Really clear practical no fuss ideas you’re SO organised! Idea for credit card insert. Can you find some metallic stuff RFID protection to sandwich that page to keep cards protected from being scanned?
Love your set up! I’ve been in a planner rut the last couple of years trying to figure out what I want to do with mine that will make it more functional and where I’ll actually use it. This video gave me the inspiration I needed! Thank you 😊
love your chatty videos. Your organization and planner functionality are so inspiring. :) I would love to see a more in depth video on your zones and what you include in each. Also, would love a budgeting routine video ( personal info of course ;) Merry Christmas!

Love your setups as always.. so clean and functional. I've tried other makers inserts but always come back to yours and even change my whole system out because I need my smaller lines on the page and there are always more lines or dot grids on your inserts than others. Can't decide if I want to haul around my A5 in 2022 or my personal rings... going to figure it out by the weekend and start printing lol
You make me decide to go back to personal rings planning. I kind of stopped it when I gave birth to my youngest 2 years ago and switched to digital planning using Notion. Worked great coz i can plan even when I'm laying down and breastfeeding. But i really miss doing it on paper. And in those times, you're one of those who influenced my planning because i love how you do it minimally and functionally which is also my thing. Now, I have to bring my personal rings alive again! 💜 I'm excited to do that daily pages side by side with the habit tracker. It's just so clever!
What I do is go to the thrift shops and look for old organizers and buy them and use the left overs that have been left inside and use them for my Filofax saves me 💰!
I always love seeing your setup videos! I moved to a personal as well for the same reasons you mentioned … on the go with two babies. Would you be able to show how you print dot grid? For the life of me I cannot get it to work for me. I feel like I am computer literate except for this one thing! Haha. Thank you again-always look forward to your videos!
Thank you so much for sharing these! I’ve ordered your inserts and they are wonderful! I would really like to streamline my daily repetitive tasks and put them into a tracker format as you have. But I’m stumped on which tasks to include. Would you be able to share your daily tracker? (And cover anything too personal, of course). Thanks for all you do!
Thanks for supporting my shop! My daily routine definitely changes often since my kids are so young that their needs and schedules change often. But here is an example of what I used recently. I prefer all the lines to be light grey colour. Don’t like fat black lines. Today I purchased filofax personal planner and will be looking for pastel print inserts 😄
Yes that is how I have it divided up. Sometimes I end up completing the tasks at different times of day but generally that is the time of day I routinely get these items done. Thanks for watching!
Awesome video! Finally someone who actually plans, so glad I found your channel! I had a question about your A5 binders. What are you going to use those for?
Thanks for watching! 😊 right now I am just holding onto my A5 binders and storing last years inserts in them. I am sure I will switch back to that size at some point when I need more space again. I really like both personal and A5 depending on my current needs so I keep binders in both sizes.
I love your setup! Do you happen to sell your camping list on Etsy? If not, where did you find it? I can certainly make one but if I don't have to reinvent the wheel, I will be very happy!
I don’t sell that one on Etsy. It is super specific to my family- it says things like “red hiking backpack”, “baby Bjorn carrier”, “Minkler”(my son’s lovey) ha ha. Also, we have a pop up camper so we store a lot of the basic camping essentials in there and don’t have to pack them every time so isn’t a very complete list for other families. Sorry!
I have basic Brother laser printer. Nothing fancy- I just reinsert the pages into my printer drawer to print the back side because the double sided function doesn’t center very well. The one I have is not being made anymore because it is 6 years old now but it does the trick.
@@plansmeetpaper3663 Another quick question please! Are you doing monthly to-dos and if so, where are you planning to place them in your planner? Thanks
If there is something specific I want to get done (a decluttering project or special cleaning task in my zone) I will write it in my regular weekly/ daily to do list. Most of the time I just work off of my zone cleaning tracker page that I keep in my "FlyLady Control Journal" section of my planner. One of the items on my daily routine tracker is zone cleaning so that how I remember to do it every day.

Hi Patty, I only slit the pages I need to take out almost everyday- daily pages and daily habit trackers. I leave the holes intact on my other inserts. I will say I never have any issues with slit pages falling out and I take my filofax everywhere in my bag. Thanks for watching!
