This is such a great organization. I feel very proud to and grateful to be able to help Fundación En Vía with its programs and the community of Teotitlan del Valle. I encourage everyone to go on one of their tours and truly experience this town and its artisans.
Great video! I am awash in memories of my time with the Foundation. What a privilege to be welcomed into the homes of these women as they presented their business cases with quiet grace, dignity and determination. It is so exciting to be part of an organization that levels the playing field of life by helping to fulfill the dreams of mothers to provide education for their daughters. My experience was so powerful. Two years later I am returning to volunteer with the tutoring program. Jo-Anne

I was able to teach English for a couple of months with En Via in 2019. I'm waiting for things to open up so I can go back again. This is an awesome organization. But I warn you -- you will make really good friends and you'll want to come back.
I enjoyed visiting Oaxaca in 2005. The people impressed me. The land and the water and the sky spoke to me. I returned to the US to complete my novel Mending Stone which is set in Oregon, Texas, and Mexico. Last year I published a sequel novel Catching Rain which continues the story in this Possibility Series. I'm now working on novel #3 - Seeding Hope! This video reflects many of my observations and experiences in Mexico. Well done!
