Our 3 yr old GSP has had 2 seizures while out in the field hunting. The first one was about a month ago and yesterday he had his 2nd. The vet ran blood work after the first one and everything came back normal. Do you hear of this often during hunting season? Im wondering if it might be caused by diet/dehydration or overstimulation/excitement...I have read enough to understand it's not uncommon for dogs to have seizures but we have never experienced this so looking for any feedback from anyone who has also experienced this.

Hello. The amount of food per day/feeding depends on many factors, the overall size of the dog and their current activity level are the main ones. Most of the major dog food companies produce feeding charts to get a good idea of how much to feed your particular dog.
