Getting to work in a nice clean shop where you can actually open up a car door or walk to a tool box with out have to wade through a see of trash is probably a treat in itself self as opposed to Rust Bros. Not to mention as bad as that car might have been it’s was still 100 times nicer the garbage Mike’s had had him work on.
It’s just so cool that you guys saved that car from impending obscurity. But it definitely takes the eyes and minds of master fabricators to see the physics of undoing that type of damage. The proper tools help too…
My 68’ chevelle ( org 307 car) had factory 3/8” steel fuel line, I just replaced it with pre bent stainless a couple weeks ago in fact. Nasty job on jack stands with body on. Was like wrestling a big alligator for too long 😂. Had to re-route in the rear and add a fuel filter but I had no choice. I knew there was going to be trouble when I couldn’t even get the old line out in one piece.
Great project, nice to see Blair outside of the Rust Bros clutter and Mike mayhem. Only issue is you might want to upgrade the potato you're using to record your videos.
@@killerkustoms oh that’s gonna be awesome for someone I didn’t know Blair helped you with the Riviera that thing came out insane. I can’t even come up with words for that one.
Not sure if the older camaros are anything like the 70s/80s. They have serial number hidden inside the firewall were the heater fan goes in. If you use a mirrorto read it from the inside. Learned tis from Kevin t. from his u tube channel called "paintucation". He has a video on this. He is also a former BC canadian. Now lives in tenesee.
Kevin is a friend of mine , he grew up in one town over , we just saw him last month ! We have the vin , we will be letting you more about what we find out on the episodes to come 😉 Thanks for watching !!!
Don't want to be the bearer of bad news, but only reason can do this for that price is have a master body guy like Blair. His time itself would be 5000 if was just Joe dirt having him help. Great what are doing, but can't project it like anyone can in same amount of time and money if don't have a guy like him donating his knowledge
Well the web says 68 Camaro with 3/8 fuel line was recommend for 350-450 hp 68 Camaro came with a 396 with 325 or 375 hp COPO 427 with 425 or 435 hp 💪💪💪
Hi JF, Did Camaros come with anti-sway bars from the factory, if you ordered them ? I really don't know. Thanks. This is a solid shell. GM of Canada wouldn't have any information because the car was bought in the United States. From what I remember, GM Canada has historical records. GM in the United States doesn't because their records were destroyed. Take care. Roland
JF, This would be a shame if you didn't paint it. Before engine, suspension and interior, please paint the car. Primer and paint will prevent this clean shell from rusting. Not a riddler finish, pick a nice red Add a vinyl top (black). A black interior and a small block chevy engine (327). What do you think ? Roland It's one thing to build a car for $5,000 , you have to be able to afford the gas too. No big block.
A part of your audience will wonder what a telephone pole is. The algorythm doesn't care what I say - all I have to do is say something. Pontiac Turbo Fireflys forever.
V8 cars have a 3/8 fuel line but in 68 it was hard to tell what V8. Trim tag on 68 only told sequence build, paint and trim codes and build date. 67 and 9 would tell you what it was with codes. 69 x codes for Norwood built cars. Trans cross member, engine mounts and firewall penetration for speedo cable will help with research. I forget your in Canada so you can go through GM historical and I think you can get what you need from them
Ahhh yeah if it was originally sold in Canada you would be set, they kept pretty much all the documents for it. Ncrs I believe can tell you what dealership it was originally sent to. May get lucky and find the og owners and find a missing z. @@killerkustoms
Are you able to explain the process of titling a car such as this in your province and at what cost. Does this expense fall within your 5 thousand dollar figure ?

It would be a good like pro touring type of build
The 350 z28 apparently had 3/8 fuel line on them on the 1969 model s
Ridler Winner Jf, proving that he can also build a complete car on a low buck budget!
A lot different than watching Bad Chad!
Well hello to Killer custom & got one smart Blair

Loving this build!
JF and blair keep up the great work
Love the show!! One comment though- if possible please talk more about what you’re doing- it will add even more to this awesome content!! Thanks
I've almost forgotten about the telephone-pole-shaped dent that was in that quarter! Nice work folks!
Nice bringing it back! Great series!
Thanks for watching!
Great build, I can't wait to see the Camaro finished. I'm glad it didn't fall off the stand again lol
We appreciate the support!
If you know so much about cars on that camaro you should find vin numbers behind heater box and rear frame rail dash and engine pad
Thanks for the tip
Also under the wiper tray

Lovin the project.
I would say it's a "pole car" - not a barn find. Thanks for the fun I had watching this!
I'm not a chevy guy but DAM I'm loving this project!!! I'm flat floored how well you removed the power pole. Just Amazing talent!
We're glad you're enjoying the build!
Nice job
The z28 came with 3/8 fuel lines also
Awesome work it's good seeing the mini tubbing as well and what goes into doing it
Great build! Great to see another Camaro being revived from the dead!
My wife’s 68 has factory 3/8 fuel line and it came with a 327. Ours looks about like yours . It’s fun though
I am enjoying the hell out of this series……such a great idea and informative….Thanks!
Glad you enjoy it!
67-68 my favorite. I can’t believe you guys removed a telephone pole imprint out of there !!
Oh wait what do you you mean GIVEAWAY car ???🚘????????????
Yes we are giving it away !

Wow that's cool as hell yeah man that sounds great 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Heater hoses are in right place for a BB car, SB hoses come out on the right side, between rge fan motor and core box.
This is cool .!
You might have to hire Mike and Avery to get it done ✔️ 😉 😎
Looking good
Good job!
great team work grand pa and john boy wallton
This is going to look fantastic
Have you named it yet? Maybe call it E.T. "E.T. phone home" considering it's original demise 😂😂😂
In my world, a 50-50 car means it looks good at 50 miles an hour from 50 feet.
That camaro being put back to all original would be a lot better
Meet Blair in las Vegas at muscle car on the strip walking along stop an talk to very nice guy I was in the 71 mustang
Here we Go,
This is going to get you up to 50K
Yeee Yeee 😊😊😊😊
At this point I would say what the car started life as is a moot point it is what you make out of it that matters

Probably a z28 as the big block cars had a semi gloss black tail panel
In 67 Chevrolet only made 602 z28

All of the 68s had 3/8 fuel lines from the factory, regardless of the engine size.
👍
3/8” fuel line came on 375 hp 396 cars or Z28 cars
Interesting fact, thanks!
