@@gustavoritter7321 It's kind of true, because russia was never strong enough to defeat sweden, the only problem with sweden was it's army capacity which was low since it didn't have a huge population like russia did, meaning russia could easily raise more soldiers while sweden would have to survive with one or two big armies it had.
You forgot that Russia returned Azov. Now it looks like the Ottomans lost the war with Russia.

@@anamorfoplasis Yes, that is incorrect. After they were defeated by the Ottomans in 1711, Russia returned ownership of Azov to them. They should not own it at the beginning of the video.

It's amazing to think that in 1711 more of Europe was at war than in either WW1 or WW2. Literally only Venice, Genoa, Tuscany and Switzerland stayed neutral at that point in time.

Thorny McThornson Actually the Ottomans were not interested in a war against Russia even though Charles wanted them to, and the Russians invaded Romania to try to take Charles by themselves but their army was surrounded and they surrendered. So it was an Ottoman military victory but they didn’t make any other gains except the safe passage of Charles through Russia back to Sweden
One big error: Bohuslän was Swedish since 1658. Here it looks like it still belonged to Norway.

When people hear about the War of the Spanish Succession, the only scenario that comes to mind is inbreeding, which is such a shame really. Just look at how large-scale this period of warfare really was, and how many circumstances were involved!
