I could weld underwater - but I would need a dolphin to keep me company.
Under water welding baffles me, I can't wrap my head around how it works at all 😂
Being electrocuted would be a concern.
Electricity doesn't care all that much about water, the thing I think is cool are the air powered grinders and such that they use down there.
Underwater welding while a shark is lurking..... now that's interesting.!
We still do a bunch at our shop submerge arc is the way to go
Funny how the TIG is by far the worst looking of the lot.
Vraiment incroyable
Bravo à toutes ces personnes dont les travaux ont permis de telles prouesses.
Submerged arc is good looking weld, not as strong as low hydrogen.
Modern? I was doing this in the 70's
Same here...
That's an awesome machine at the beginning.
I could lay a bead with that. Lol
Yes, that's what modern means.
considering the advent of electrical arc discharge welding occured around 1800, with the most significant period of innovation happening in the 1920s-1930s coinciding with the onset of WW1 (submerged arc being pioneered around 1935), these are relatively (but not particularly) modern techniques compared to the only welding process available prior to the 19th century (i.e. forge welding)
I was doing this in 550BC
The Tig welder seemed nervous because he was being filmed lol
Submerged arc welding new? Pipe dream if I've ever heard one. 😂 It pre dates WW2.
I'm sub-arc welding an 18" pipe in school right now (I went inside and manually flux-cored backing for my root, carbon arc'd my groove clean and got my actual root in before class ended last week).
Not my favorite process, I like to get stuck in.
Damn! That tig welding looks like a camel’s ass sewed up with a grape vine. I usually reserve those sorts of comments for bad stick welding. But hell, I guess it’ll hold cracked corn. Maybe.
while welding, I thought of a way to weld with No training, no welding machine, no electricity, able to weld inside the field not just around edges! very interesting idea! question is, now what to do with idea that could change world?
How do you produce a arc to fuse the metal together?
Make idea, change the world.
Is it "glue" ??
첫 화면은 서브(SUB)용접 이군요.
Modern?
Why no technical details for the unenthusiastic
That TIG is not very good.
Subarc at the end had a lack of shielding too.
The TIG part at 7:20 is really horrible : i was doing a better job on my second day welding!
Must know more about kitty litter welding. 🥽
"Meh" give me can of 6011 I'll shipyard weave the root opening in no time.
👏👏👏👍👍👍👌👌🇧🇷🇧🇷
Music sux
Я вручную так же могу заварить не хуже чем на станке
Really bad tig welding 😂
Even my 6 years old daughter can do it better 😊😁
