That is soooo cool to see the fish on the right side after you swam and to add on more cool stuff, I love your video transition of being under the water then being in the car instantaneously!

Thank you for being real! As I’m getting older, I tend to like the most my close surroundings in the area I live (Czech republic). And I can still enjoy travel vlogs from people like you, so yeah :) I totally get when you say you’re exhausted.

Italy is beautiful, but it does have the narrow winding roads and crazy drivers. Glad you finally found a beach to go to. The video underwater was super.. Glad you took a little trip.

What a beautiful place to visit, you're so lucky. I really don't understand all of the negativity and complaining though. It seems like some simple google searches before the trip could have prepared you for what beach access may look like, as well as other logistics & how crowded it may be. And if your top priority was going to a beach, other destinations would have been easier for that.

It’s really hard to find out about these small details using google maps. Even when we were there it was so hard to plan out our days. We had to ask people in person a lot..

    • @StephanieC3

@@SadieP I'm not talking about google maps. I'm talking about basic google searches. Reading reviews of beaches and your hotel. Searching online travel forums for advice from other travelers. Asking your hotel about taxi service so that you can leave the car at the hotel and get dropped off/picked up at a beach by a taxi. Doing some research in advance is part of "adulting". Instead, you showed up with unrealistic expectations of the place. You wanted it to be a place where you had free/easy access to a beach where you could film swimming videos. If you had learned about the place and the logistics before you went, you could have embraced the Amalfi Coast for what it is, rather than trying to fit it into the same box of what you'd like to experience each time you go somewhere. To me, your complaining does not come off as someone showing the realities of travel- it comes off as someone who has unrealistic expectations of the world and people around them. You are in charge of your own happiness and contentment. Be curious, ask questions, be open, and do some planning! This beautiful world of ours is amazing!

I'm fallowing Nicky Positano ch and was always amazed..... what a stunning view and place!!! Going up and down those stairs daily, is the way of living for the ppl there.... carrying heavy bags full of groceries, walking dogs (2 of them, in their case).... or just having coffee with friends..... 500 stairs just in one way!
But they're fit even in their older age.
So I guess 200 stairs from the street and sea, was a good location for Positano!

Every American with a stupid big truck and loud exhaust, wondering why most Europeans drive small cars. Now you don't need to travel just watch this and learn 👍.
Did a 5 country trip in '22. Germany, Belgium, France, The Netherlands and Luxembourg. A small car is heaven to zip in and out. And a small 250cc motorcycle here at home. ( If I could ride a bicycle everywhere I would, but the desert sun will kill us 10 months out the year lmao).

I didn’t find the unimpressed clip with the lemon at all amusing. Italy is known world wide for its high quality lemons, hence their prominence as producers of Limoncello. Goodness, how dreary to not find appreciation for the history, heritage and natural environment that surrounds you.

@@judithmoore1545 Excuse me dear, the literal end clip I was speaking about says " and then we went home. Home sweet Home. Lol"
Because the trip was over. It was funny because I understood what she meant. I've been subscribed for over 5+ years. But even if I hadn't been, neither of us were poking fun at anyone or anything.
I hope the rest of your day is less acidic. 🍋 👍

You can skip the condescension as I am over 70 and needn’t be referred to as “dear.”

    • @RavenFairy
      @RavenFairy 2 місяці тому +1

@@judithmoore1545 Now I will apologize, I refer to most everyone as dear. So many years in healthcare/retail. It was a safer, broad option. When texting we can't tell tone of words. Now closing in on 40 and teenagers in my job well yes I guess sometimes things sound wrong.
I have travelled my fair share but haven't had a chance to visit Italy as of yet. But when I do, I hope to raise a glass of Limoncello and toast Sadie & P. And everyone here. For all our differences we are still human. 👍❤️
( I will not however be going up and down the hills to go to the beach no matter how much I love the water 👍🤦).

I appreciate that we’ve both come to a respectful resolution. My encouragement I can give you about navigating the mountainous areas of Italy is to say that if you can make it through teen years with your children then you are definitely sturdy enough to take on winding roads and breathtaking heights. Cheers!
