Since I was thirteen I´ve been suspecting John voice was double tracked really instead of been treated with ADT only. You´ve taughted me too much really!
Lennon = Genius .🌻 Turn off your mind relax and float down stream - It is not dying It is not dying Lay down all thoughts surrender to the void - It is shining It is shining That you may see the meaning of within - It is being It is being That love is all that love is everyone - It is knowing It is knowing That ignorance and hate may mourn the dead - It is believing It is believing But listen to the colour of your dream - It is not living It is not living All play the game existence to the end - Of the beginning Of the beginning
It'd be a momumental task to stitch this song together using modern technology! They did something unthinkable by doing it in the mid sixties, with so few tracks to work with!! What an acheivement - both in the technical and the shear creative sense!
Are you sure Paul plays the backwards/forwards solo as Revolver box set lists George playing Tamboura, Lead Guitar and Tape loops and Paul bass, tape loops and piano? Wiki also credits George with lead guitar. Beatles Music History site also says George played it. Another overdub was also recorded onto track three of the four-track tape on this day. During the open spaces left in the instrumental section of the song, which only contained the sound-effect tape loops at this point, a decision was made to spruce up this section with a little backwards guitar played by George. The book “Revolution In The Head” claims that this element was actually "parts of McCartney’s guitar solo for ‘Taxman’ slowed down a tone, cut up, and run backwards…reversed and transposed down to C." However, upon detailed listening as well as verification in the 2022 Deluxe editions of "Revolver," this has been found to be false, George actually recording a new lead guitar section that begins with feedback that is heard in the released stereo mix at the beginning of the final verse during the lyric "that love is all, that love is everyone."
John Lennon: vocals, organ, tape loops Paul McCartney: lead guitar, bass guitar, tape loops George Harrison: guitar, sitar, tambura, tape loops Ringo Starr: drums, tambourine, tape loops George Martin: piano
@@rbstems It sounds like Paul because it sounds like his Taxman solo although it is similar it is not the same. However, nearly all the documentation says it was George.
I don’t know if anyone ever had the 4 track cassette recorder by Tascam but on a typical cassette player you listen to two tracks going forward on one side. You turn the tape over and the cassette plays the other two tracks going forward in the opposite direction. Well with the Tascam gizmo it was designed to make all four tracks go in the same direction so that way you could record on four tracks and then send it out to another device to lay down your recording. Well when you recorded on it if you took the cassette out and played it on a regular tape player you could hear two of the tracks playing backwards 😂…. So anything the Beatles,Jimmy Hendrix or E.L.O. ever did using backwards masking you would just have to make your own recordings of them and then listen to them on this device and hear it played forwards .You’d be surprised how interesting the musical pieces actually were. No fooling 😮…..
"That ignorance and haste may mourn the dead". I aways thought it was hate, but clearly haste thanks to the isolated vocals.
"Ignorance IN haste..." might make more sense, but it sounds more like "and" than "in".
The single tracked vocal section is fascinating.

Well you have me doubting! To me it sounds like Paul, but I'm not sure!

2:47 Machine.
00:14 I noticed the Bass is very soft do you remastered your stems?

And that was Revolver, ladies and gentlement.
Im waiting for the Bass and Drums video, Revolver video and... now Sgt Peppers Sessions.
THANKS!!I though I ´ll never hear the guitar solo forwards!
And Revolver Is complete
Listening to Lennons voice over and over is as listing to a Tibetan monk chanting
Amazing work also could be able to separate the Drums and Tambourine
5:35 damn what a pic 🥴
Notice how they took out the dolls heads ...
@@Tom-hk6uband all of them with their eyes closed... I don't know how to explain it but it's a very interesting pic right there
Never understood what the dentures hanging off of them was for. And who's hands are holding the meat at the far left & right? Strange pic. lol
A few months after this photo session, George became a vegetarian for the rest of his life.
I actually am so curious to know how you got the single tracked vocals
The Atmos mix has them isolated in the center channel!
@@rbstems :O
Does that mean you get both tracks that comprise the double track?
No, you usually only get one of the two. But sometimes they give both tracks ; I think this one used ADT though so there's technically only one track.
❤❤❤❤❤
Yesterday knows though.
Much prefer the single track vocals on this
Are the drums a loop or not?,
A "C" note....wow
It is my favorite Beatles song, but that bass is mushy and lacking definition, I never noticed until this deconstruction.
