In Mexico, these dates are very important Above all, because they are celebrated with family and friends ~ Parties called "Posadas" are held to remember the journey that Joseph and Mary made looking for a place where baby Jesus would be born Two people (play the role of the two of them) knock on the door of the house, singing a litany ♪ And when they enter, the people respond by singing as well ♪ At the end, they open the door and all the guests inside, singing, say to them: Come in, Holy pilgrims ♪ pilgrims ♪ receive this corner ♪ and although the home is poor, the home, I give it to you from the heart ♪ (it is heard better in Spanish) hahaha And everyone has entered, the party begins, they break piñatas, there is music, food and drinks ^^ Generally these parties end almost at dawn hehe On Christmas Eve (day 24) dinner is made and gifts are given out Many people also wake up dancing and drinking (Mexico is all about partying) hahaha And on the 25th, the kids wake up to see what Santa left for them on the tree I think that unlike what you eat Here, there are an infinite number of dishes, Pork leg, Pork loin, Turkey (I like smoked turkey), stuffed turkey, apple salad, Pasta (my favorite is ravioli ^^) Cod, Romeritos (whew... there are many) hahaha Others make typical food, like Pozole etc. I've been thinking about you...
