You can also play Phase 10 with 2 decks of playing cards (with jokers). Suits Hearts = Red Diamonds = Yellow Clubs = Green Spades = Blue Values Aces = 1 Jacks = 11 Queens = 12 Kings = Wild Jokers = Skip The rest of the cards count as their face value.
After I finished a phase, Do I still need to draw a card from the deck/discard pile AND discard a card each round? Do I HAVE to discard a card in order to finish my turn? If I only have one card left in my hand and it does not fit anywhere can I just place it in the discard pile to finish my turn and win? During my turn, Can I play as many cards as I want as long as they fit properly?(Ex. On one turn play a phase then keep playing in other phases) Thanks
@Falcon that's what I thought but was confused, still kinda am, only because the directions say that you dont have to lay down your phases or other playable cards, you can keep them in your hand. So I dont understand why the directions say that but then don't specify what would happen or what to do if someone won the round before you played your cards. It doesn't make sense to me that youd risk having to add playable cards to your score at the end because you decided not to lay them down when it was your turn. Does that make sense? I hope I explained that right.
@Falcon no it wouldnt make sense to not lay them down. I'll just skip that and play by laying down my hand when I can during my turn. Thanks for helping clear that up for me :)
so what do you do when you complete a phase and have no cards left in your hand? is there a rule as to how many cards you have to have in your hand at all times?
We dont do points too much math with alot of players. We just play to until we get to phase 10 and if two players are on phase 10 the first player to phase out wins.
You can discard any card that your want to, but your must discard one card at the end of turn (except if your added all your card to sets after your completed your phase). And also discarded skip activates it
Sorry, but I can get to where you are, playing a phase, but I still don't see how you use all of your cards, or go on to the next phase. Is there any way you could show like two rounds, what each player is doing, the ones who have finished the phase and the ones who are still trying to finish?
When your conpleted your phase, your try to get rid of your cards by adding them to your own phase or other players. You still doing normal turn of taking one card and discarding one card, but your can also adding cards to phases to get rid of them all. When someone did it, all cards are collected, shuffled, and dealt again 10 cards to each player. And players that completed their phase in previous hand move to next, players that didn't need to try againg to complete their phase
I have been playing this game for a long time. 2 weeks ago it would not play. sometime in can go to main page but when I try to play in get a dark screen
Once you have your phase and put it down all you need to do after that is try to get rid of your remaining cards so you can close that round out and get other players stuck on their phase while you move on to the next. example 1st phase is two sets of 3's...you have 10 cards...if you have your set (ex. 222....333...444...etc) you put both sets down (dropping 6 cards) now you will be left with 4 cards in your hand. You will continue to pick up one card from the pile when it is your turn and adding cards from your remaining hand either to your phase if you get the same number...another players phase if the number matches or the pile in the middle until you have no cards in hand.

For the one that needs easy explanation how I play it is everyone gets 10 cards and the first person to get their sets in there turn than the game is over and shuffle the cards for the next round that person that completed starts again and goes to the next phase and everyone else stays the same the first person to complete 10 wins skip the points makes everything more confusing For anything example if it says 1 sets of 3 and a run of 4 Ex. Set of 3, 555 and run is 12345
+Julian Gutierrez SKIP CARDS: Skip cards have only one purpose: to cause another player to lose a turn. To use, simply discard the “Skip” card on your turn, then choose the player who will lose a turn. • When you draw a “Skip” card, you may discard it immediately or save it for a later turn. • A “Skip” card may never be used in making Phase 8, or any other Phase. • A “Skip” card may never be picked up from the discard pile. • Only one “Skip” card against each player per “round” may be used. • When someone is skipped, a “round” is once around the table. • If the dealer starts the discard pile with a “Skip” card, the first player’s first turn is automatically skipped.
+Julian Gutierrez yes you can use it to skip anyone you choose. In the event that the first discard happens to be a skip, it automatically skips the first turn, i.e. the first person to the left of the dealer.
If on phase 6. "1 Run of 9", If I have cards 1-9 and a wild to make 10 cards can I lay the 1-9 down as my phase and discard my wild to close the round or must I play all as 1 big phase wait to draw another to close or what?
You should have 11 cards after drawing from the deck then you have to discard 1 card at the end of your turn, so if you only have 10 cards that means you didnt draw first. I'd draw, lay down all 10 cards, then discard the 11th card.
When your complete your phase, your try to rid of all your cards. When someone does that, he wins that hand. All cards are collected, shuffled, and 10 cards are dealt to each player again. Those players who completed their phases, are moved to next, those who didn't need to try again with previous one
Can you hit as soon as you put down your phase at the same time? Your own and others? Or have to wait till next hand? Been looking for an answer to this
You can hit on the same turn as you put down your own phase (and and after that of course). You don't need to wait other players making their phase, but if they did before, you can hit your cards on their phase set. And you can hit only on your turn
Here is the situation. The dealer deals the cards as usual, and turns up a red 6. The first player to the left (who is on colors) has been dealt 9 red cards and a yellow 6, He picks up the red 6 and discards the yellow one and goes out. Is this the end of that hand with no one else allowed to play?
I can play I know the rules and stuff well but when I have to get like one card I never get it and always get the same card Everytime but the next person who goes draws the card I nedddd
Ok so if i put down my phase 1 sets and I have 4 cards left in my hand, do I have to keep taking 1 from the deck and drop 1 or do i hold my 4 cards and wait until i can lay each down onto a set and then drop the final card into discard pile? If it's my turn and i cannot lay any of my 4 cards onto an existing set do i pass on my turn?
+Michael Watts any remaining cards you have in your hand may be played so long as you've laid down and your remaining cards follow the sequence of yours or other players. Doing this help facilitate your chance of going out.
You can't make new runs or sets. Only add cards to existing ones. And that's why you can do sets or runs bigger than it's required on your phase. For example, do set of four instead of three
If you lay down a run using a wild card as the first and last card on that run, can you still play a card on the bottom and top wild cards if those cards are playable in the run??
I don’t play rounds. Our house rules are no points. Who ever completes the list first is the winner. When you complete a phase you then pick up the number of cards played. I believe it makes the game a lot more simple and fun.
Interesting how the score doesn't matter unless two or more players complete the tenth Phase at the same time. And how the color of the cards are completely irrelevant except for ONE phase!
I understood none of that sir
😂😂😂😂 same
Same 😂
I do not understand
I had to watch it 3x
My heads spinning too🤣
Great instructions! It took me 10 plus minutes to read the instructions and wasn’t too sure, and this 2 minute video summed it up perfect! Great job!
You can also play Phase 10 with 2 decks of playing cards (with jokers).
Suits
Hearts = Red
Diamonds = Yellow
Clubs = Green
Spades = Blue
Values
Aces = 1
Jacks = 11
Queens = 12
Kings = Wild
Jokers = Skip
The rest of the cards count as their face value.
Wow. This is my favourite game and I didn’t understand that.
Just learn how to play this the game is so much fun. The best way to learn is to play while someone is explaining it to you.
+Shavone Williams :)
Shavone Williams We dont "go out". Whoever makes their phase wins and we move on. Loser replays his lost phase.
Shavone Williams its kinda hard to play when nobody knows how to play 😂
Is there a black version or is it the black version? Since I'm told Ken created the game
God this is harder than some Calculus problems.
Tom Guy not really once u played 1 time u get a hang of it just played rn
I tried and we were all confused.
😂😂😂
gosh, it's just like playing rummikub
No way man
I’ll just stick to uno
You can just use the pack like uno. xD
Ikr same
Anthony’s Movement forreal and I just got Phase 10 But I’m cool I’ll stick to UNO
Lmao my thoughts exactly
Anthony’s Movement me asf rn
Using 10 sided dice really helps to keep track of what phase you & your opponents are on without having to write the phases down on paper.
Fair enough.
whats the difference u still have to write down the points
This was perfect, thanks for the quick instructions

Do i have to discard a card in every turn? No matter if i lay a phase of not?
WhiteSteelGamer Yes.
+Triple S Games Also if i have a phase in front of me already then do i have to pick up new card from the deck?
wraaowh
Yes
AceTheFox yes u do
Triple S Games fi
so what do you do when you complete a phase and have no cards left in your hand? is there a rule as to how many cards you have to have in your hand at all times?
+Sonia Garza you win the hand. Shuffle and deal for the next.
Ya same happened to me
Can I use 2 wild cards in a row? for example I have a run can I use 2 wilds back to back?
Yes You Can
You can use as many wilds as you want, as long as at least one card in set or run is not wild
We dont do points too much math with alot of players. We just play to until we get to phase 10 and if two players are on phase 10 the first player to phase out wins.
Very simple and easy, thanks Bruh!
Finally a video I understand, lol not fully just a bit but the best so fsr
I have a question. The player who is going must discard, so does that card have to be a card that can not be played anywhere else?
You can discard any card that your want to, but your must discard one card at the end of turn (except if your added all your card to sets after your completed your phase). And also discarded skip activates it
Do you still have to discard if you did a phase?

What happens if there's a tie for player with the lowest score?
As soon as you lay down your phase, are you allowed to put your own cards on your phase in the same turn?
Yes
It helped a lot I never knew how to play this until I watched this video it’s very easy
I have been playing this game for a long time. 2 weeks ago it would not play. sometime in can go to main page but when I try to play in get a dark screen
Can someone who is playing in a phase behind yours win the round (meaning all the other players score points even if they are advance in the phases)?
So basically it's Gin Rummy and Uno mashed togeher....👌👌
Yaaazzz.... So much harder than uno tho
Do you play phases in order?
But you put down more cards than you draw so how can you go on to phase 2?
I don’t get it
Exactly! I'm with you! If I lay down 6 cards do I pick up 6 cards? This doesnt make sense.
Once you have your phase and put it down all you need to do after that is try to get rid of your remaining cards so you can close that round out and get other players stuck on their phase while you move on to the next.

You didn't not explain it even close to good enough
We love love love this game. Been plying for years
Do your point cards that you're holding go against you if a player goes out that is one phase behind you?
Yes.
@@joycemay8922 Thank you! We can now finish this game
I played this game for the first time I love,love this.

One question after I put down a phase , in the next turn can I still pick up from the discard pile?
yes
When a player places down a skip they get to choose who gets skipped or is there some rules as to the next person after gets skipped only?
+Julian Gutierrez SKIP CARDS: Skip cards have only one purpose: to cause
another player to lose a turn. To use, simply discard the “Skip” card on your turn, then choose the player who will lose a turn.
• When you draw a “Skip” card, you may discard it immediately or save it for a later turn.

How can you go on to the next phase if you only have a little amount of cards? There is no way you can gain any cards?
When your complete your phase, your try to rid of all your cards. When someone does that, he wins that hand. All cards are collected, shuffled, and 10 cards are dealt to each player again. Those players who completed their phases, are moved to next, those who didn't need to try again with previous one
What does wild mean?????
1-12in four colors or(diy a,b,c,d1-12)&4card=wild+2card=skip...corect me if its not corect... Total is102card set
love it, your explanation was concise & understandable
Thanks, it took me triple the time the universe has existed for
after I put down a phrase, do I continue to draw a card?
Yes, and also discardin card
Best way to explain the game, have to explain it everytime I play with someone and this says it the best in the shortest amount of time 😂
Can you hit as soon as you put down your phase at the same time? Your own and others? Or have to wait till next hand? Been looking for an answer to this
You can hit on the same turn as you put down your own phase (and and after that of course). You don't need to wait other players making their phase, but if they did before, you can hit your cards on their phase set. And you can hit only on your turn

I work night shift at a call center and this helps my time fly by .
+Sandra Harris I believe it would be the end.
Thank you ☺
what do u do if you are playing with one other person and they put down an incomplete phase
accuse them of cheating

After your layed down your phase, your still do normal turns with taking one card and discarding one, exept, that you can add cards to phases
I don't understand the part at 25 seconds, when you say you may play cards in front of you or other players.
+Michael Watts any remaining cards you have in your hand may be played so long as you've laid down and your remaining cards follow the sequence of yours or other players. Doing this help facilitate your chance of going out.
Excellent! Thank-you
So does that mean everyone starts on phase 1? So in this example, everyone who is playing needs to start with phase 1: 2 sets of 3?
Yes
I understand it perfectly but my mom still doesnt get it even after watching a videoLol
After putting my phase down, do I have to wait until it's my turn again to play off others cards if they put down their phases after my turn?
You can also play this game with Uno cards.
Use the cards as follows:
Skip = 10
Reverse = 11
Draw 2 = 12
0 = Skip
Wild or Wild Draw 4 = Wild
Uno And Phase 10 Wilds make sense as they are similar
Do you have this same explanation but in Spanish?
You say "draw a card from the discard pile" but you can only draw the top card, right?
+Z3rostar correct
I played my required hand and had 3 cards left over. Question, can I play a run of 3?
You can't make new runs or sets. Only add cards to existing ones. And that's why you can do sets or runs bigger than it's required on your phase. For example, do set of four instead of three
Omg this really helped me thx
If you lay down a run using a wild card as the first and last card on that run, can you still play a card on the bottom and top wild cards if those cards are playable in the run??

Wait..
So, a round ends when all cards in each hand have been played, but yet you score for each card in your hand. What does that even mean?
Cooljack CJ yah but the player with the lowest score wins
A round ends when ONE person plays all their cards. Everyone else counts the points for the cards they are holding.
Good job my Boy
What the hell did I just learn. I feel violated.

Wt I can't understand
