Any idea how to disconnect the battery on the new LCI MHEV models like the X6 LCI 2024? I disconnected it from the trunk but the horn is still active so I was concerned to go ahead with the Airbag removal.
Yeah same process as the outgoing model, the difference is that you need to also disengage the mhev battery which you do so by opening the bonnet and then pressing 3x the start button until you see that on the screen. Still need to remove the negative terminal on the boot battery before doing the mhev one. That’s the way I managed on my 2024 X6 40i.
