    how can l pass the program that I made in wincam to the emco pc mill 100 using a 3 1/2 diskette? it would be very helpful if you respond my answer.

      Sorry, I don't have Wincam. If you don't have the documentation for your emco control google to find it. The Emco versions of the control manuals, (Fanuc, Siemens etc.) cover the basics.

    you should slow down spindle speed and add longer peck for drilling.

      +syntetyczny I made a typo in the program and feed was much too high for the torque available at that speed.

    Howdy rc,
    question, do you have the EMCO hooked up to a transformer and a rotary phase converter or are you running 400V to it by default?

      +camcompco I rewired the PC Mill 125 to run 230V single phase. However, this machine only uses single phase internally (except for the coolant pump), even though it calls for 400V 3/N/PE. You won't be able to do that with the Turn or Mill 155. You will need rotary converter or 230/3 and transformer. Let me know how that Turn 155 works out for you.

      Thanks , will do once I get her running. . .that's the hard part at this juncture, I don't know how to hook it up to the RPC-Transformer-Mill series. The equipment came separately (transformer was not connected.)
      Any assistance would be greatly appreciated . . .I can post pics if that helps :-)

      +camcompco I would RPC -> transformer -> machine. The transformer should be 230V delta in and 400V wye out. Neutral of 400V wye is bonded to ground. Before connecting to your machine verify 400VAC between L1-L2-L3, 230VAC between L1,2,3 to N on transformer output, and 0V N to ground. Transformer should have a diagram showing you how to connect things. Or hire someone.

      rcdieselrc i am not sure how to post pictures to you, can you send me your email address and I will send you a pic of the transformer i have. . .i know I am asking you to help a stranger, but I would really appreciate it.
      all the best
      John

    Did you convert it to mach3? 🙂

    • @rcdieselrc
      @rcdieselrc  2 роки тому

      No.The original control was still running when I sold it a few years ago.

      @@rcdieselrc Okay thanks for fast reply, I did just purchase a machine like this. The toolchanger is quite a challenge with mach 3 i think

      @@electricbimmer7343 if the original control is working, there is little to gain from a retrofit in my opinion. I have a lathe and mill running Emco Fanuc. There are retrofits of machine like these with umbrella tool changers. But, any tool changer is a bit more effort in retrofit. Look for the Emco cnc users group on groups.io

      Probably VisualMill 5.0 at the time.
