The fact that you can apparently play this with 0 bad people, and it still doesn't end until tasks are done, makes this far more exciting then say Among Us. Because you can literally have a round with 0 Dissidents, and yet, people will still be so paranoid of each other, that they will resort to violence, lol.
1:10:25 Something about the helmet lighting up indicating that Courtilly is talking but a bark comes out instead is so funny to me. 1:41:29 That timing is comedy gold!
Reminds me of the First Class Trouble game where Kara had a fire alarm in her apartment and left her mic open while she went outside. Her avatar was just opening and closing the mouth, bellowing the fire alarm.
I was so confused why Jeremy was trying to direct Larry to the wrong spot on the scanner from Chilled's perspective, now I understand that he was accidentally mixing up his crosshair with one of the circles, that was so great as a final nail for Courtilly thinking he was evil.
This was amazing, would love to see you guys play it again some time. Apple running herself to death to get away from Cheesy and Jeremy had me laughing so hard. Also that last round was awesome. Jeremy was a hero, completing two entire tasks own his own and picking up Chilled's screwdriver to slay both dissidents in a 2v1. Incredible.
So for pressure the one Court was trying is 2231. Or red red blue yellow. A small number can accept a higher value (yellow = 1, red = 2, blue = 3). If a value is two under (a yellow in a slot that needs blue) it will blow on half power. If it is one under (red in slot that needs blue, or yellow in slot that needs at least red) it will blow at full power. Basically blue can work in any slot, red can work in a slot that wants red or yellow, and yellow only works in slots that want a yellow. Therfore one of the two blues in the other pressure units was likely in a slot that only needed a yellow.
It definitely took a bit for me to get it. For the pressure canister game you want to test by going up levels. So use as many level 1s and 2s that you can find first. Then, anything that pops on the second level with a 2 in it, needs a 3. If you start with 3s, they will always work, but that doesn't necessarily mean they are in the "correct" spot. They can hold the most pressure, and won't pop. You could put them in a place that you only need 1s or 2s for, and that was what was messing with Courtilly. The one where she kept flipping the 1 and 2 cannisters, it should have been Red, Blue, Blue, Yellow. 1=Low pressure 2=Mid pressure 3=Max Pressure
Honestly I think to be fully balanced, it needs to be more time, more tasks, and only 1 dissident. From what I could tell, you can’t adjust the timer as host but I could be wrong. It just feels way too strong to be able to run around with your teammate and just jump everybody individually, the only counterplay as crew is to stick together the entire time. Which is great and all, but the tasks *force* you to split up on every task. The other complaint is how quickly you can kill. Having a gun with 4 bullets as a dissident means you can theoretically headshot the majority of the crew by yourself in seconds if you’re good enough. And yes in Among Us it’s instant, but there’s a massive cooldown (minus warlock, jugg, and werewolf in TOU).
@@JurrassicGamerI think you can adjust the Timer, because the first game or 2 was only 8 minutes and then it got bumped up to 12 for the rest of the session.
@@JurrassicGamerI think the 4 bullet gun is weaker since Jeremy headshot with it a couple of times without a kill. The one shot pistol is definitely a one shot to the head but everyone can hear it.
i cannot express enough how the like, sprinting noise sounds like skyrims eating sound. like blasting thru 60 apples in skyrim before continuing a fight
This was such a cool game! Full of comedy gold, and definitely interesting. Those tasks look like they actually require team work which is pretty dope.
Can Jeremy not put task-based items in his bag? After he found out about it, he would only put guns and screwdrivers in there, but would just grab one item for a task, run all the way to the task, put it in, then run all the way back to grab the second item. (At 2:42:00 he finally grabs a second item). One nice touch I will give this game that I haven't seen in other games is it throwing up "Your mic is disabled" when you talk with the mic disabled. Not too intrusive but unlikely to find yourself accidentally muted for long periods of time.
I think Jeremy was trying to fill in the circle his cursor makes, do from a third party, Court, it looks like hes purposely misguiding Larry to burn time till the employees lose.
probably mentioned already, but maybe this will help some folks. for pressure task - if 1 (yellow) fails, increment to 2 (red). if 2 (red) fails, increment to 3 (blue) basically, if it fails, try the next higher number. if you use all red+blue, you likely overshot the "target" and can swap in a lower-numbered tank.
I feel like the color coding on the pressure cannisters is a bit of a red herring. The numbers are far more important. Each slot outputs an amount of pressure from one to three, and each cannister can handle an amount of pressure from one to three. So the strategy would be to pull out all of the cannisters that are already inserted when the round starts, and replace them with the lowest values possible. If they pop, replace them with the next highest value until the generator is stable. _Finding_ the cannisters should be harder than figuring out which slot they go in.
1:22:30 I had paused for dinner, so when I came back I forgot Jeremy had died and was trying to figure out why the hell he was just standing there when she was getting attacked. 😂
This deffinetly needs some more balancing, but i like it. I love these genre of games. Do much fun to watch. Wish i had a crew to play some of them with.
apparently, there's a theory that all engine slots have a minimum required power number for each slot, so even if its 1 2 1 3, you could succeed on that side with 3 2 2 3 and not know that the first 1 is eating up a 3 canister. and since there's the other side, it could need a 2 1 1 2, the 3 would be shift-able, but the 1's could have 4 slots possible for 3 canisters. that is a good leeway for canisters, but not alot.
This is a fantastic looking game. What an awesome bunch to be playing with too. So fun. The mini games look great too and a bit more considered as tasks. Great video. I was keening for something fresh like this fucker
Larry: Chilled did the thing! Me: Oh, he did the First Class Trouble thing where everybody sans one is a baddie, and it looked like Em was the unfortunate schmuck as the 1 in a 1v7
The ideal crew strat(regarding guns) seems like it'd be for every crew-member to charge the areas where guns usually spawn, grab them, and then never take them out. If crew goes and grabs most of the guns but a single dissident grabs one then they can just ambush one of the crew with a gun, killing them and taking their ammo. Easiest way to deal with that seems to be that every person that picks up a gun keeps their goddamn mouth shut. Statistically speaking, most of the guns should be in the hands of crew and if dissidents don't know who's packing, then that makes basically any attack on their side a lot riskier. EDIT: I just so happened to write this comment paused at 57:55, literal seconds before Cheesy and Jeremy said, basically, the exact same fucking thing.
That's a good strategy... unless you're playing with someone as paranoid as Chilled who's going to think you're just a Dissident claiming Employee to get the guns. Also there were some rounds I saw where the guns spawned with no ammo.
Nah, when I said everybody should keep their mouths shut I meant every person should literally search for guns at the start of each round and not say a single god damn word until well after they've found a gun(or searched all the spawn locations). Somebody grabs the gun you were going for? You keep your mouth shut and keep looking cause arguing about it goes against the purpose of the strat. What arguing does is potentially let a nearby dissident know who picked up a gun(and therefore who they should ambush). Unfortunately, it wouldn't be good content-wise and it requires everybody to be on the same page. In this group? Never gonna happen.
Hopefully in the future you can customize your faces to be all sorts of wacky, I'd like to move the features in weird way like a Mii face to make a whole new thing.
My mind was fcking blown. Start of the video, I said to myself "I don't know if you know, Chilled, but you're Asian" and then Jeremy said almost the exact same thing. I'm laughing so hard right now. Hahaha. This game seems like it really lends itself to the long con for its gameplay, I think. When you're just shooting the shit and then whip out a knife or shotty and stare at them. Haha. Some funny stuff! I wouldn't mind this popping up again at some point.
Game looks fun but doesn’t look that user friendly. Think it needs to be made harder for the killers and easier for the employees to navigate. Don’t think this will have much life to it in all honesty
There are two types of badly developed games- those which have all their systems immaculate, polished, and ready to go but forgot to make the core gameplay loop fun, and those which have a perfect gameplay loop but forgot to make the game actually run. This one is the former. Incredibly well-polished turd, looks and runs great but no one will want to play it.
It definitely needs A LOT rebalancing. Also, the tasks aren't super clear or consistent. Hopefully the devs make some updates! It looks great and has some cool task and item ideas, but I doubt it'll get played more than once in this state.
@@MrPackerfan85for a game like this that makes sense but thats like building the game around the set design not make the core gameplay loop then the set design.
I don’t like how it seems to be first team to get the gun wins. Plays more like a TDM with a task to do in the middle. Straight away I saw all the vents. Less weapons make vents a thing to use. Or smaller tasks for imposters if they do them they’re rewarded with a weapon. A for employees there’s no way to raise the alarm as such, oh look a dead body. Then carries on like nothings happened.
Seems like healths existence is only a factor for sprinting. All attacks just obliterate people so quickly. And no agency for ghosts for up to 8 mins is excruciating.
While the deaths by sprinting are funny the first time you see them, it looks like it just slows down the game, which could easily be fixed by adding more health or tasks. I didn't think it was possible to make a worse sprinting mechanic than stamina, but death by sprinting is up there. It's not even an original concept, Lunar: Dragon Song for the DS also had your characters take damage if you sprinted.
I think to make this game work a bit better you really want only 1 gun and a single bullet or everyone’s armed and 1 shot won’t kill. That or change it to accidents to kill and/or dissidents are only able to sabotage and you win by running down the clock. Fun vid though
God I hope this game gets role mods. It looks like they would be so fun. But right now this looks way too easy for traitors. Like, the crew all basically need to rush to find all the weapons as soon as possible to stop the traitors for getting them. Because no cooldown on kills is just way too OP for an among us like game.
It's a neat concept but it's too fast and easy for the killers in it's current state. With how involved the tasks are, it feels really meh watching so much work being done to so quickly just being swept away by someone who found a nice weapon. If the guns/weapons took effort to unlock, and weren't just strewn about, I think it might have a better cycle. Then folks can raise suspicion on folks seeking to unlock weapons, especially if the bulk of weapons are meant to be more lethal when folks are engaged in faking tasks versus just going around butchering everyone.
For me the bigger problem is the time to complete tasks vs the time to kill. For example, the botanical ones basically needs two people and for their early attempts took nearly half a round or so, but someone can just come in with a gun and wipe the employees mid-task easily. Maybe they could lock guns behind something like task completion or maybe they could unlock when a player has died another way? Maybe they could go the GMod TTT/Murder route and give the gun to a random player who you know is innocent?
