Hello guys! What's up? For today's video I'm going to show you how to make this really weird tortilla pencil case! I saw an image of this pencil case that looks like a tortilla on Google but I've never, and mean never, been able to find a place to buy it. So I decided to do a DIY project on it. I hope you like it! For this tutorial you will need:
Cornstarch 100gr
Silicone 100% 50gr
Acrylic Paint
Glue
Elastic Band
2 magnets

Ehilà ragazzi! Come va? Per il video di questa settimana ho deciso di presentarvi un tutorial su come creare un portamatite a forma di TORTILLA. Qualche giorno fa ho visto girovagando su Google una foto di questo borsellino e l'ho subito adorato, ma al dir il vero non avevo proprio voglia di acquistarlo su un sito straniero, così ho deciso di inventarmi un modo per crearne uno con degli ingredienti che tutti noi abbiamo a casa. Per fare ciò ti servirà:
100% Silicone 100gr
Maizena 50gr
Colori Acrilici
Tessuto Elastico
Colla
2 piccole calamite dalla grandezza di circa 2cm

Wooow I LOVE the creativity and editing in your tutorials!! This one turned out so well and so ingenious to make the tortilla from scratch instead of using fabric or other stuff.

For all those people saying she copied Rclbeauty101 , SHE DID NOT. Rclbeauty made a pizza and emoji pencil case, fimokawaiiemotions made a tortilla pencil case. And there is a difference between copying and being inspired. She could have been inspired by her.
+Sugar Cookie Crafts And Rclbeauty101 does the pizza and the emoji from an old t-shirt and @FimoKawaiiEmotions does the tortilla pencil case from silicone and cornstarch
she could have at least gave rclbeauty101 credit like most youtubers do when they get inspired to do a video by a other youtuber
oh and about u saying the difference between this and rclbeauty101 is kind of a pointless defense cus for example u right a book and i like it would u like if i take the idea of the book with the same scenes and same everything just i changed the title the book cover and the characters names

Way better than the RCL one. Better look, simpler, better finish, better folding method, much better video, more creative materials... And what would have been wrong with proposing a different method to do a similar thing anyway?
Only thing is I don't think that glue will hold the elastic. Perhaps if you set the elastic in the silicon before it dried? I also like the idea of embedding the magnets in the silicon.
I agree that this was way better than rcl's one because rcl didnt really take time and really try but on the other hand, this video took the time and made it look as realistic as can be!

In rcl's one all you had to do is cut out two circles from a t-shirt, print out your design on transfer paper and iron it on. On this you have to do a lot of crap.
Yeah, and you could just wrap your pencils in a real tortilla and that would be even easier and even crappier.
I think there's space for both approaches on UA-cam.
Next time use lighter colors when painting it. Because when I first saw it, I thought it was supposed to look rotten, burnt, and moldy. Cool DIY though! I like it!!!

You may have over mixed the silicon, or it may have been too thick. You can try changing the proportions to have less powder.

Just saw something similar in a back to school vid but I love the technique I this since it doesn't require transfer paper.
