Funny back when Galaxy Edge was announced I think many thought this land was a goner. And then when that didn't happen I assumed it was being ear marked for something else like maybe a Frozen area or maybe even Pandora some day. Instead this area has gotten the biggest upgrade since Roger Rabbit was added 30 years ago. Well done Disney!
I think more got cut then that. I feel like there was more planned for the coaster, all they did was change the name and then add a statue of gadget after they removed her from the name... Seems odd. I know this was always a refresh but I feel like there is no comparison between this and super Nintendo land.
Unless the tree is a real tree and not fake. It will take a while for the tree to grow and be like in the concept art. I actually prefer it to be real than fake though.
Super Nintendo land despite not being as big is much more impressive visually. I don’t know why but this toontown feels….. lifeless? Like a big playground that went through a budget cut.
The only reasons to go to Toontown now are the quiet areas, the fountain, the Runaway Railway ride and Goofy's play house. The rest of the land should be razzed and rebult. You can't do much at Donals houseboat and Micky and Minnies house is just for meet and greets. I do like the music they have though, not to much and not overwhelming.
What kills me is they took out the iconic Roger fountain, which gave the area a better aesthetic flow, for a line of fake grass cutting across the pavement at an uneven angle.
They put in an amazing dark ride, only the second one to be added to this land in literally 30 years and you're complaining there isn't enough space for more?
Please refrain from waving the camera back and forth with constant movement. Allow us to see something before you move the lens off it. Too much swaying and shifting.
I’m sorry it seems to be missing something. Chaos. It seems lacking any kinetic energy. Boring even. I was hoping for more. Toon town to me will always be when Eddie and Roger enter the land of toons. This is like a city park idea of play whimsy. Not a Disney toon land. Where are the gags.
Mickey's Toontown always had a kind of "kids' play area" vibe to it even back in the 90's. I mean back then it was full of bounce houses and ball pits. If anything, the lack of the Roger Rabbit kinetic energy is because of how it's been years since Disney and Amblin had the fallout that resulted in the premature discontinuation of the franchise.
@@rexrabbiteer If I'm going to be honest, I always figured that had they renovated Toontown, it was going to be more in the favor of Mickey & friends rather than Who Framed Roger Rabbit.
I love Toontown, it’s so great to see the imagineers put so much effort into improving this unique Disney Parks experience
They have the Huey Dewey Louie and Webby from the new Duck Tales in Donald's boat! Perfect!
This was an amazing and much needed upgrade for Toontown. Well done, Imagineers!
I appreciate that they’ve got the Ducktales theme playing in the backdrop
i was there this morning for the media event/opening. it was a blast. food was a home run, and rides were great

Thank You SO SO SOOOOO Much, LP Unicorns! Super exciting stuff!!!
I love Toontown!
Welcome back Mickey's Toontown we miss you
The tree looked like it got budget cut but the rest of toontwon looks good

Funny how they’re using the 2017 version of Webby not the original
They did that with huey Dewey and louie so it wouldn't make sense
Thanks for the video, but I think you need to get a camera stabilizer. I started getting dizzy.
Man, Disney just can’t stop exposing Minnie’s underwear. That fountain has Minnie flashing everyone lol
🤩🤩🤩
Is goofy water still there?
You mean his boat ?

Yaaaawn… Super Nintendo world despite its smaller size has more life in it. Where are the gags? Is this toontown or soccer mom land?
😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
LOVE everything about this except the new music. A folksy country feel doesn't really match the big city atmosphere.
How about less play area and more actual ride space?
Uh you do know this is a kids area right? Kids could care less about rides more than adults. They see a playground they would rather be there.
They put in an amazing dark ride, only the second one to be added to this land in literally 30 years and you're complaining there isn't enough space for more?
They should of put more rides in toon town,

That’s exactly what I thought. It lacks the wackiness that the old toon town had. It feels too.. bland and safe.

Underwhelming imo
this is just a documentary about how Disney ruined toon town.
