Agree, they do an excellent job with signage and fiberglass props. I didnt see the lampost they obtained from the 1964 Worlds Fair in the footage....it in an area called heritage trail maybe?
Did they put in a stupid seating area where the glass maze was? Wasn't that a rare attraction? My local park had one and it was gone by the end of the 1980's. Wildwood, NJ has a newer mirror maze on the former Hunt's Pier/Dinosaur Beach, and Trimper's Rides in Ocean City, MD has a mirror maze and so does Playland in Rye, NY. New England used to have a ton of dark rides and now just has a few left, mostly newer ones, Canobie has the 1985 Haunted Mine rebranded Mine of Lost Souls in 1992. Do you know where in the park the Pretzel/Bill Tracy the Swamp was? Was it near the Yankee Cannonball? I can't find any info online about where in the park it was located. I assume it was scrapped by 1985. The cars went to Spook-A-Rama at Deno's in Coney Island. The last dark ride there. Ghost Hole was seemingly dismantled recently and Dante's Inferno stored after Astroland closed. Playland still has it's three and Adventureland Long Island a newer haunted mansion from Italy replacing the ghost ride which replaced 1313 Cemetery Way.
Castaway Island needs a new slide complex...maybe on the other side of the original section...I’m thinking a ProSlide Cannonbowl 30 & a ProSlide Tornado 18...just like at Breakwater Beach in NJ

The main difference between the two is that Canobie has evolved into more of a theme park, with their Polynesian areas, Frontier section and the rustic section near Untamed. Knoebels stays focused on being an old-style amusement park. Both are shady and beautifully landscaped. I'm quite happy spending time at either, but Knoebels has a wider variety of food plus their extensive campground.

Rob Krasinski. They moved the maze and a thrill ride but they add a water park and Ice Jet.

How long were the lines at the waterpark? They seriously need to add more slides.

I hate to say this, but Canobie Lake looks better than Knoebel's Grove. Has anyone been to both to compare?
