Most IRs are taking a swing at the JC with their clean cabinet; they just won't call the patch a JC so Roland won't sue them.

@@reddi-rich i’m gonna have to keep my eyes open. You would think the boss would be the best, but as somebody who’s recorded and owns a JC and multiples over the years I can say it’s tough to dial-in

@@athomeontwo Ultimately comes down to the IR-200 being a modeler underneath the hood, not a profiler. It's not at all relevant that Boss has access and rights to the original parts lists, circuit designs, & other related intellectual property. You might consider looking at a full profiler with captures of actual JC-120s preloaded, or having one of your own captured & loaded for you. The IR-200 can only ever get you part of the way there with cabinet IRs driven by models.

@ yeah, I’ve considered it it would be an investment. I’ve just not heard anything yet That would make me invest that kind of money. Which one would you recommend?

@ well you got me let me be the first to say happy birthday to me. I ordered a nano cortex. I’m gonna have to get somebody to help lug my JC 120 out of storage. We’ll see how good it sounds.

@@athomeontwo AxeFx 3 & Kemper Stage Profiler are very compelling. I wouldn't curse anyone with the Fractal learning curve, though. Neural is most of the way there. Helix & Headrush are lagging behind. The rest I've tried aren't in the race yet. Point of reference: Backline vendor.

Great tones! Really appreciate your signal chains... been on the quest for a while - your inspiring me to start recording more vids again - documenting my journey. Been running a 3 board effects chain and many variations of and in-between. Your choices and creations from are music to my ears! Keep it up! Thanks for speaking clearly of your signal path and the why's of placement.

@@JasonBrockStick thznk you much! I’m keeping an eye out for your vids! I’m finding myself drifting into more of a recording, set up than a pedal board set up and that’s dangerous lol it gets really expensive
