Hey BB, QFNW: After watching the first 2 episodes of the Acolyte which characters do you want most in TVC? And .. do you think a Kelnacca , Wookiee Jedi figure could be the basis of a new Chewbacca mould?
Qfnw, How many mandalorian figures (tv show) do we need compared to how many you think we'll get. They have really oversaturated them imo
The HASLAB should have 25,000 backers with two more Action Figures !!!
Another fun episode with lots to think about, Bossk! I think you and another commenter (I've forgotten the name) are right on the money, "Deluxe" figures should come on a larger bubble/card and the boxes should be for actual sets. A Storm Trooper or Imperial Officer (generic) with a couple sections of interlocking "Imperial Wall Panel" would be a great No-Brainer for such a set as both loose collectors and Army Builders would benefit without upsetting carded collectors. Rebel troops with pieces of Echo Base or Yavin Base would also be great additions.
I actually feel nostalgia looking at that TVC Cloud Car pilot, it's been 15 years am I right? Wow! A good figure. Arms are a little long tho. Looks great in the cloud car

Given the success of Haslab on big projects, do you think Hasbro would ever consider smaller crowd sourced projects? Like, Vaders Tie fighter will be made if they get some number of presales.
Haslab reveal probably SDCC. I have a theory: I bet a bean counter was like hey, a lot of people signed up for premium to get free shipping for the ghost so we need to prolong the cantina so they’ll have to renew for the next one.
I like all the jelly coming from the TBS community. They are desperate for the haslab to fail. They’re like “a failed haslab?” “Haslab overpriced?” Some are comparing it to the throne room. It’s like yeah, you just justified the price with your own comparison. It’ll have way more figures, accessories, and at least twice as big. So really the base offering should be more like $460. Even if it was 600, if the rumored tonnikas are true, there’s no way in hades that this isn’t backing! It’s like I’m sorry you placed your bets on 6 inch, but you should have stayed on the cool side! I’m only kind of joking, but they do need to try to keep that bad juju on their side, save it for the next rancor!
Hey bossk, qfnw: I see people ask for a Death Star haslab but I’m of the opinion that it would be better to get several Death Star play sets individually, as it’s physically impossible to have an accurately scaled Death Star anyway. We already have an emperors throne room set (sort of) and stuff like Leias cell, the darth Vader/obi wan hallway fight, the trash compactor and the control room the droids hide in could all be individual sets. What do you think?
It truly puzzles me sometimes to wonder why Hasbro hasn’t done that yet..

I been finishing off my jabbas characters collection and pretty much got all of them except a few. I don't have an ishi tib or that frog dog i think it called bubo. QFNW, I know they will probably never release them but how much would you like to see an ishi tib or bubo? There was an ishi tib in powers of the force but it's from the rebel briefing room. He's not the one from jabbas palace. The bubo on the secondary market has a ludicrous price tag attached. Are there any other jabba dudes you would love to see. QFNW- is your wife jealous of you lusting over the new Greedo yet? Seriously, I'm surprised we got Greedo as a stretch goal. Wish he was just standard release. I would have rather had a never released background alien like the other duros. Where's hammerhead? To be released during return to tatooine? We have to get him next, right?

QFNW. I realize that there are SO many characters that we as collectors want made and it takes like 2 years to develop and produce a new figure. That being said, characters from new media that have been in multiple episodes and even multiple shows haven't been made. If I remember correctly, Cobb Vanth has finally been pipelined, but where are Carson Teva and Peli Motto? Both characters are very popular with fans (and one would assume Disney) so where are the figures? It just seems that they are in limbo for some reason like the Bad Batch and I don't get it....

Another great video dude. QFNW: at what price point does TVC become untenable for you? There has to be a ceiling for a 3.75 figure right? I feel like if the price keeps creeping up, its only gonna be guys like you who are completionists that will buy 3.75, and cherry pickers like me just wont bother with the line anymore, and that surely hurts the lines lifespan. Personally, im at that point now, anymore rises in price and im checking out. Keep up the good work for the community. PS, hasbro, id love the tales of the jedi inquisitor in tvc please.
Waaazzzz uuuupp! BB, two part question for next week. With ROTS on the horizon, do you think we would get a 4 pack of phase 2 clones with various paint apps, with the new phase 2 clone mold. For instance, windu purple, shock trooper, saleucami, dark utapau trooper etc. So many paint apps to army build. 2nd part, I don't see Hasbro doing any expanded universe clone trooper figs since they just reintroduce the common ones. Which clone trooper would you like to see make a comeback. For me it's the yellow barc trooper, blue heavy arc trooper, and lastly kashyyyk scout trooper. My room is full clones, and need to find time to upload a video 😅. Always look forward to Sundays to watch your vids. Awesome content as always!

Tim, QFNW, post-Cantina Livestream: in regards to the "Return to Tatooine" campaign, what do you think that means? An extended focus on A New Hope? Or do you think that it means we'll get more Return of the Jedi Jabba-related stuff (Like the Black Series HasLab Rancor reduced to TVC size...)? It could also mean Phantom Menace, Revenge of the Sith, Book of Boba Fett, and Mandalorian-related releases. It sounds like this theme is going to take us well into 2025 - please tell us your take on what you think it entails.

Appreciate the shoutout! And totally agreed on the Pyke Soldier. They fight the Tuskens in the flashbacks and they fight Boba/Fennec/Krrsantan/Mando at the end, so they would help fill out both timelines of the show quite nicely.
Recarding the Cloud Car Pilot: Did you know that there is actually a more screen accurate version out there? It’s an older figure from the 2004 Original trilogy Collection, but in my humble opinion it doesn't look that bad. I don't have the figure personally, but I bet it still looks pretty solid in a Bespin display... Might be useful information if you're really interested.
Actually all 3 of the Kenner/Hasbro Cloud Car Pilots are very innacurate to the film prop. The prop used in The Empire Strikes Back film was only created from the waist up (there's a reddish pinstripe running down their sleeves).
The closest mass-produced Cloud Car Pilot sculpt that currently exists is the barely over 1-inch tall Galoob Action Fleet Cloud Car Pilot. The soon to be released Jazwares Micro Galaxy Squadron Cloud Car Pilot looks to surpass the AF sculpt based on promo images.
There are a few "garage" type Cloud Car models out there that where the pilots are very close as well.

What percent chance do you think there is that Hasbro will make a different Stormtrooper 4-pack? Essentially with 3 Stormtroopers from A New Hope via TVC plus exclusive TK-421. Thank you in advance.
No reprints in the HasLabs please. No Cantina you can buy it. Really no play sets. Those are for children to play with. Locking it behind $500 is just plain a bad idea.
QFNW - Haslab Cantina has been revealed and it comes with a sticker set. Are some of these stickers in your opinion clues to future releases and repaints? Such as Peli Motto, Gammorean Guards, Sand trooper, Max Rebo band. Do you think they’ll also release new versions of creatures such as Bantha, Dewback etc?
Hello BB. Congrats on your anniversary achievement! I’m new to your channel, and I’m enjoying it immensely.
My Question for you is, back in 2004, we got the Death Star Red Leader X-Wing, that was pretty poor. The cockpit was very plain and It had pre-set stickers on the wings. Do you think that we will ever get a new more updated version of Red Leader and his X-Wing? The newer style X-Wing is far better than that old one.

Howdy BB! The videos are always awesome and congrats on the success of the channel! QFNW: With Hasbro being able to share figure design / engineering between the black series and TVC (I think the grand inquisitor and Reva are examples of this?), why doesn’t Hasbro utilize sharing designs and sculpts between scales more to fill the missing gaps in TVC, theoretically without tapping into the “new tooling” budget? Great candidates that come to mind would be the rest of the bad batch, and prequel releases like the new darth Sidious, Ki Adi Mundi and super battle droid just released in the black series.
Bonus question: what figures from the black series would you like scaled down and released in TVC?
Hey Bossk! Congrats on 7 years. My QFNW is: with the official announcement of the Cantina Haslab, and the 2024-2025 "Return to Tattooine" I've been seeing a lot of excitement from the OT collectors (which you guys deserve for finally getting a set you've waited so long for) and doom and gloom on the facebook and reddit groups about the state of the line from some of the PT and modern media collectors like myself. Obviously we don't have access to financials, but you and some of the other big names seem to have your finger on the pulse of everything. Do you think the state of the line is okay given the haslab announcement, or do you think the "meh" year we've had with pipeline reveals (not counting the new OT mains announced) is indicative of a downward trend? I'm still hoping next year they re-release or focus a little bit on Revenge of the Sith since it's the 20th anniversary, but as the days and announcements roll in, I'm starting to prepare myself for disappointment.

With how many different suppliers have pre orders for new figures, what is your go to place to get your figures when they release for these videos. I usually use BBTS, but they still haven't shipped my Revan! Lookin for a better supplier. If anyone else wants to give their, you are welcome to as well.

good to see the Ghost getting made for a haslab . I don't know when it will happened but at some point hasbro should. haslab for the ebon hawk people would jump on that or maybe even a rogue shadow they would be enough fans who would pre order a ebon hawk, Rogue Shadow its just hasbro will just make acolyte figures and ships and any other new star wars media like eclipse, next film etc then they will probably do a old republic range for figure ships etc and after other new star wars media slows down. The force unleashed figures and ships might not happen for many years but Hasbro will know they will be a fan base for force unleashed and still many characters that never got an update like shaak ti , marisibrood or even characters that did not get a figure like a terror trooper etc

QFNW: As crazy as it sounds, 2025 will mark the 30th anniversary of the debut of POTF2 and I've been finding myself feeling a little bit of nostalgia for those days. So, what do you think of the idea of Hasbro making a small (around 3-4 figures) subline in TVC on those 1995 orange POTF cardbacks? It doesn't necessarily have to involve any new sculpting and they could just put the most recent versions of Darth Vader, Boba Fett, the Stormtrooper, and X-Wing Luke (maybe Jedi Luke) on recreations of those cards. Kind of a "these are the figures Hasbro should have released in 1995/96, instead of what we got" theme to it.
Hasbro has already done something similar in the Black Series and maybe they could just make it a Pulse exclusive (like that Ewoks cartoon 2-pack). Personally, I like the idea but I'm not sure how interested other collectors would be. So... is that something you'd be interested in at all?
Oh, The Black Series will release POTF2 carded figures for its 6-inch scale but TVC will probably forget about the anniversary.

Would have been another 100 on top if that was the case. Low production run on all new figures is gonna cost.
if they made young Leia from the Obi Wan tv show i would get a figure of her, she is a main character do they have something against female characters?
no, they make a lot of female characters, but perhaps when they are 10 years old it changes somewhat.
