Thank you so so much, Fabiola.
Honestly, I am learning a lot in the process as well. For example, from this trip, I now know more about Batoufam tradition than I know about my own village so don't be too hard on yourself. ❤
We will keep exploring, sharing and learning. xx

Hi Chinwe, happy to hear that you found the video enriching 💜. African history is really very interesting, especially when one goes back and realises that our ancestors were very intelligent and communities were sophisticated in their operations, as opposed to the flawed ideas we have today. It’s a pity when some of these things were being taught in class, some of us just studied for the exams and threw what we had learned away after exams were over.
      Thanks for always watching 💜

Don't know about snakes but people definitely eat bats in my country 🤢 I nearly jumped out of my skin years ago when I opened the freezer to see a whole bat staring at me. I feel like Cameroon is like Gabon and the Congos - full of hidden natural wonders. On some level, I want us (Africans) to get to know each others countries, but I also want these places to remain our secret so they remain unspoiled.

For real, you have a point regarding that feeling of wanting certain things to remain secret. I feel like secret things are better protected.

    • @mutomboinprogress

Yes I use an iPhone for the camera. My sister, the only way is to use the cable to connect the phone to your laptop. Then make sure in your settings, under Photos, you select Downlaod and Keep Originals, and then scroll down and under 'Transfer to PC or MAC', select 'Keep Originals'. After doing this, when you connect your phone, you can just transfer them as you would using a normal USB drive

Hi Helen! Oops, late reply but hopefully not too late.
We are currently entering the dry season and the temperatures are rising so I don’t think you would need jackets during the day, but to prepare for slightly chilly weather in the evenings.
Regarding the attire, if your partner hasn’t given you any specifics, then I don’t think there is much fuss around that. The most important thing is to be appropriately dressed in terms of decency, but not necessarily prudish.
      Hope that helps ❤️

In Florida, Texas, and Louisiana, they do eat Alligators. No lie here. I think they eat snakes in Florida (not 100% sure). In the series "Naked and Afraid," Americans eat snakes as a means of survival. My conclusion is just that people eat the meat they find in their surroundings.
