The Fender Engager Boost is a fantastic end of chain buffer, volume & EQ. If someone's looking for just a versatile utility pedal, it's a very underrated option.
Hi Shannon 😊 I don't use many pedals if I can avoid it . If its Rev or delay or modulation or Other eq I need I use a multi effect pedal in my effects loop. Maybe an o/d in the front end. I used to work with a Friend of mine 😺 in Building 🏢 industry every day I would try to reduce my tool 1:36 load down by using tools that had multiple functions in order not to break my back carrying them . I remember that my friend said that he had eventually reduced is tools down to two essential Items. I asked him what they were. He said a lunchbox and a thermal flask 😅😅😅. Have fun😊.
@@shannonlcallihan hey Shannon. I don't want to sound like one of those guitar store w*nkers (which I actually was 🙂) but yeah the traditional wisdom tends to have delay and reverb towards the end of the chain, modulation effects before that, and fuzz compression and drive towards the beginning of the chain. Things don't ALWAYS sound better that way though. I often like Univibe and sometimes phase before drive. I depends a bit on application, how individual pedals interact in terms of things like buffers and impedance, and of course, personal taste. You're a pro player with great touch and nuance and ears so you'll work out what works for you. Enjoy!
Love that chorus. Fuzz and reverb are also nice.
Nice demo Shannon.
Sounds really cool these pedals especially with the Jag :D

Nice sounds but maybe the order needs looking at? Fuzz & drive first, mod FX, reverb last?
Standard pedal order is for blues dads only.
Love your vids!

I could use that rig live but, for my preferences I might have things in a different order perhaps.
@@Grant_Ferstat what order? I am new to pedalboard set up. Reverb at the end?

Nasty Nuances…I’m still just “Tez” & you’re still just “Smooth” 💕
Just me, but I have been listening to Boston effects. I bet anything sounds better, when each note is doubled a third.
You need a blues driver
@@davidhall3524 I used to have one. Seems like a staple for most players
I’m sorry for saying you’re a babe. But not really.
With your talent, you don't need pedals.
@@lukeforehand8311 I’ve never been a big gear head but it’s been fun exploring different sounds!
