Had no idea Skip Mahoney sang with the Orioles. He had a group here n the Baltimore DC area called the Casuals. Learn something new everyday!
Sonny Til didn't want to stop performing because of the many new formings of The Orioles. He certainly kept the "Orioles" alive. My favorite, thus far, song by the group would be "Crying In The Chapel".
A video on the Mills Brothers would be great. They were the granddaddy of all the vocal groups.

The Orioles had a song back in the day during Christmas "What are you doing on Christmas Eve". I had that back on tape and now I have it downloaded as an MP3. The Orioles were the Drifters. They changed their lineups so much its hard to keep up. But their hits dried up before the 60s where as the Drifters had hits from the mid 50s til early 70s
