People are so paranoid of him because he really is kind of the detective of the group. I haven’t seen an episode where fruit was one of the last standing, and him not win the game for the crew. One of the winning conditions in most of if not all the videos is killing fruit. So when he’s the imposter, now the crew has lost one of their bests detectives, and now have an imposter who knows how to not leave a trail due to the fact that fruit knows what does leave trails.
Sharkk always gets loud when imposter, Blub always gets super defensive, and Fruit always gets super passionate when he knows the imposter. It’s always kinda low key obvious with those 3, I haven’t noticed any trends with the others.

There is room for doubt. There is a case where instead of being accused both impostor for doing double kill, one impostor will try to blame the other impostor and the innocent reporter. This way the impostor betraying the other impostor will be seen as innocent, at least until the others find out that the reporter was actually innocent. But that doubt should have been gone AFTER Fruit was killed, since then it just means Blub is the other impostor. If Fruit didnt die and managed to click the emergency button, or if the one Blub killed is not Fruit, then actually it would be harder since it's 50/50 between Blub and Fruit.
