Loosen the fill plug a little then open the drain plug. Then the oil will come out slower and you can unscrew the fill plug to let more oil out instead of it all coming out at one time.

Great video. I intend to change my transmission fluid as it wasn't changed in the last 5 years, but I don't have that fluid pump to refill the gearbox. Using the dipstick hole should do the same, I guess.
My friend, to fill the gearbox with oil you can use (instead of a manual pump) a funnel with a long funnel extension. The filling will be done from the front of the car. You can also use a large syringe with a hose.

this LV 75w oil is to thin for Corollas gearbox. It is for the Yaris and your will destroy your gearbox with it ! You need 75w-90 gear oil from Toyota original and not this LV !!

@@YiannisPagonis no because when I had Yaris 2008, servicer told me it only goes 75W LV in its gearboxes because it have very sensitive and soft sinchros, what is not case in the Corollas. That tells me a lot about quality

Εμένα στο Yaris D4D diesel μου (μεταχειρισμένο) δεν μπαίνει ποτέ η 1η ταχύτητα όσο είμαι με ταχύτητα άνω των 10χλμ/ώρα... Λες να γίνει τπτ αν αλλάξω βαλβολινες;
Πόσα χρόνια πέρασαν από τότε που άλλαξες για τελευταία φορά βαλβολίνες; Και ποιόν τύπο βαλβολίνης έβαλες; Έχεις ελέγξει ποτέ την στάθμη λαδιού στο κιβώτιο ταχυτήτων;
@@YiannisPagonis Το πήρα μεταχειρισμένο στα 160.000 και το έχω στα 180.000 τώρα. Δεν έχω ιστορικό απ' τον προηγούμενο. Θα το κοιτάξω άμεσα το θέμα και κακώς άργησα...

@@YiannisPagonis σ ευχαριστώ για τη βοήθεια. Να σου ζητήσω μία ακόμη άποψη, στο manual αναφέρει για χωρητικότητα βαλβολινης 2.4 λίτρα. Σκοπεύω να παραγγείλω την αυθεντική, αυτή δλδ που λέει το manual, που χρησιμοποιείς κι εσύ στο βίντεο, να παραγγείλω 3 λίτρα ή 2 λίτρα πιστεύεις; (Σκέφτομαι μήπως πχ δε φεύγει όλη κατά το αλλαγμα όποτε και με 2 μονολιτρα μήπως είμαι κομπλέ) Τι πιστεύεις;
@@songoku7915 Όχι 2 λίτρα! Αναγκαστικά πρέπει να αγοράσεις 3 λίτρα λάδι βαλβολίνης, πάντοτε σύμφωνα με τον τύπο λαδιού που χρησιμοποιεί το συγκεκριμένο αυτοκίνητο (θα το βρεις στο τεχνικό εγχειρίδιο του αυτοκινήτου σου). Το κόστος του αυθεντικού λαδιού είναι περίπου 45 € (15€ Χ3=45€). Πρέπει να υπολογίσεις τυχόν απώλειες κατά την αλλαγή (εάν σκοπεύεις να το κάνεις μόνος σου).

Πλήρωσα Γιώργο και για τα 2 λίτρα συνολικά 31,96 € μαζί με το ΦΠΑ (4,64 €) χωρίς καμία έκπτωση από την αντιπροσωπία. Ενώ την χειραντλία την αγόρασα 1 € από ένα κινέζικο κατάστημα. Θραύση κάνουν τα κινέζικα μαγαζιά σε πολλά τέτοια προϊόντα (ενώ τα ελληνικά δεινοπαθούν!).

@@YiannisPagonis Γιατί δεινοπαθουν? Το βενζινάδικο στην πόλη μας που πουλάει τα πάντα το ξέρεις? Πήρα 5κλιπς(3.00€) αυτά που βάζουν αντί για βιδες και τα ίδια ακριβώς από το Ali τα 50 κομμάτια, γύρω στα 2.00€!!! Τους φταίει κανείς αν δουλεύουν με 1000%κέρδος ???

this LV 75w oil is to thin for Corollas gearbox. It is for the Yaris and your will destroy your gearbox with it ! You need 75w-90 gear oil from Toyota original and not this LV !!
Wrong my friend. Only this type of oil is recommended by the manufacturer for the specific model of this generation with 4ZZ-FE engine but also for the rest of the 1ZR-FE, 1ND-TV and 1AD-FTV engines ONLY SAE 75W.

@@YiannisPagonis than I can only think newer Corollas have lower quality gearbox sinchros than older ones from 2003 E12 models

@@YiannisPagonis no because when I had Yaris 2008, servicer told me it only goes 75W LV in its gearboxes because it have very sensitive and soft sinchros, what is not case in the Corollas. That tells me a lot about quality
