Strawberry Smell - Episode 14
Asli (Demet Ozdemir) is a young and beautiful girl who works at a pastry shop and loves making delicious cakes. While she is delivering a strawberry birthday cake to the customer, she is involved in a car accident and ruins her cake.
The person who is driving the car is Burak (Yusuf Cim), a famous womanizer belonging to a rich family. They start discussing from the moment they bump into each other and wish not to see each other again.
Since Asli could not deliver the birthday cake, she is fired as soon as she goes back to the pastry shop. She becomes so desperate and does not know how to a find a new job again.
At that time, her friend Gonca (Zeynep Tugce Bayat) who is working at the same pastry shop accepts the job offer that she has taken from a big hotel in Bodrum. She persuades Asli to go to Bodrum together so that they could earn enough money while working in the hotel during the high season.
Next day, Asli and her friend Gonca fly to Bodrum and unfortunately, find out that the hotel where they are going to work has been closed. While they are wondering where to stay, they find a 5-star hotel whose new owners are about to recruit new personnel.
So, Asli and Gonca decide to apply for a job in that hotel and stay there if they are hired. However, Asli does not know that the owner of the hotel is Burak whom she never wants to meet again. Their lives intersect once more.
In strawberry smell (cilek kokusu) tv series story, you will watch the lives of teenagers and see a relationship of opposite characters. Will Asli and Burak get along with each other very well? Will Asli forget her platonic love and start to fall in love with Burak? Will Burak find true love after he has gone out with many girls?

Burak is making great progress in his relationship with Asli. He becomes a better version of himself. He learns to listen and understand her, to put her needs and desires above his own. If in the 9-11 series Burak was blinded by his love and did beautiful but somewhat risky things, now he tries to be more careful. He learns to talk with Asli, not to be jealous, even though she gives him many reasons. Watch the scene from Episode 12 where they're sitting in a cafe as he tries to calm himself down and not be nervous about Asli meets with Volkan but not answering his calls.
I am very sorry that Asli still does not see how much Burak loves her. She is ready to give up at any obstacle, not understanding she hurts Burak. He tries to explain everything, and she ignores him, thinking that everything can end like this. Burak rightly said that it is too late for that.

I love the developing friendship between Burak and Aslı’s friends. He realizes these are “real” people who care for one another. The serenade was sooo GOOD!!
I don't understand why Burak won't just stand up for what he wants and say it to everyone and explain to Çağla why he doesn't think they are suited to each other. Maybe if he explained a little rather than just saying it's over she would get it a bit more. But yes she shouldn't stalk him and she may stalk him even if he did explain but at least be respectful enough to give an explanation to your gf of two years. Why can't he just say I started to fall for someone else and realized what I had with you was not love.
Also why does Volkan assume Aslı wants to be with him without actually asking her. You can't just claim people as yours without asking them what they want.
Burak is definitely overly possessive and jealous but at least he checked with Aslı that she liked him too. Also Aslı never tells Volkan she's not interested and keeps going to him instead of Burak when things are hard. Any normal bf would be pissed off and jealous of that. It drives me nuts that no one openly states what they are thinking, they all just hide everything and expect everyone to just understand their intentions intrinsically.
Also what is it with these girls in all the Turkish serials moving with one tiny bag when they wear new outfits everyday lol. I know it's a show but come on at least give her a decent sized bag so it looks somewhat realistic.

Burak explained everything to Cagla. In episode 10 he said they were too different etc. He could not say that he broke up with her because he fell in love with someone else, because he understood that she would suspect Asli (and she does), and would take revenge on her. He also cannot confess to his parents that he loves Asli, because she lives in their house and they will be kicked out.
As for the rest, I agree, Volkan is incredibly two-faced and jealous to Burak, it's surprising that there are people who want to see him with Asli. He deceives her and manipulates her. Asli also needs to understand that being in a relationship, she cannot trust another guy more than her boyfriend. She behaves very recklessly and gives Burak reasons for jealousy.
Good that Asli quited her job before Cagla could try to embarrass her again.

Here we go again, jumping to conclusions and making assumptions without first finding out the truth. It can get monotonous and tiresome. Poor Burak suffering from Cagal's evil plots and Asli falling prey to it all.

Not only Burak’s uncle does not understand That Burak is truly in love, like he himself love Elcin, also Burak’s parents are in love with each others but are refusing to accept that their son is not in love with Cagla. Volkan manipulates his own sister, he uses the difficult family situation and Eda's weak psychological state in order to lure Asli home and implement his terrible plans with Cagla. He does not think that he is hurting Asli, who loves Burak; which gives false hope to Eda who thinks that Asli and Volkan are together.
not to mention the fact that he is interfering in his cousin's personal life (didn't Volkan shout that he doesn't like it when people interfere in his life???) and tries to discredit him.
He also manipulates Asli's kindness and naivety and her trust.
Volcan is a cunning horrible person.

Volkan was upset with her because she saw her mother. Instead he should have calmly explained his point of view to her like he does with other people, this would have helped her to take a more assertive position facing her poisonous mother.
