    I tried this and the first thing you should do is cook first the tapioca pearl because it'll take a long time. Choose the small size because it'll expand. After 1st boil, let it sit 5 min then rinse and make sure that the pearl will not stick to each other and then after 5 minutes, boil again and then let it sit 5 minutes then rinse and then boil again. Let it sit 1 hr. And it'll be perfect. No need to wait overnight.
    When you're boiling the soya milk, just use a little gelatin powder, it'll harden like a gulaman if you use the whole pack which is you don't like when you taste it. But I tried a different recipe for the 2nd time, I used Silk Tofu instead of soya milk and the texture and taste is similar to the taho of the Manongs.
    The brown sugar, I used the soft kind. Just boil a cup of water, depends on your liking before adding the sugar and then stir and let the sugar melts.

    Tinry ko to pero naging gulaman hahaha lesson learned wag niyo po ubusin yung isa pack ng alsa. di rin siya katulad ng texture ng magtataho sa PH pero pwede narin. Thanks for this recipe

    My portion is 10ml or grams of powdered alsa gulaman is to 1L of soya milk. The consistency is just right.

      Id say less than a day cuz soy milk expires fast. I once bought a bottle from the supermarket and the next day it was expired

    Tried it but the texture is hard and tried the 2litters of soya and 1 cup of clear jelo I got the soft and yummy one but imagine I’m alone eating those Taho Jusko na purga ako sa dami 😂

    What's the specific temperature for boiling the tapioca pearls and brown sugar, and also the Soya Milk?

      I measure temperature when baking not boiling but the heat is medium high.
      Turn the heat off when the soya is about to boil

      The best brand for Soya Milk is Inner Goodness from Aldi
      Mr. Gulaman or Alsa by Ladies Choice are the best we tried

      Originally, calcium sulfate talaga yung ginagamit na pampatigas ng taho. Yung gelatine usually sa mga nagbebenta ng cold taho.
