I'm from Tatarstan and live in London 3rd year. I miss Alsou, I been brought up with her songs. She is amazing so gentle, feminine and so different from majority of singers nowadays, who exhibit to much on a stage just to take attention. Alsou don't need cheap tricks, she is just lovely by the way she is. Love her!!!

Shootings last almost week because of constant change of seats - Алсу and the film crew had to travell across Death valley, boundless open spaces of desert in state of Nevada, to visit on coast of Pacific ocean. In one of film-making days Алсу it was necessary to master elements of a scuba diving and technics of singing under water.

Let me clarify...it's the style of songs they select for her to sing for English CDs that I don't like. The English songs have a "harder edge" or a rap/hip-hop style to them, more like songs you might hear from Britney Spears or Christina Aguilera. The Russian songs themselves are so much nicer. On the other hand, they have chosen some very nice English songs for her to sing on Russian TV such as Lionel Richie's "Hello" and "Teardrops."
@jenyafantitanic911 I think in that clip they used not a one place. I can see the Pacific ocean,in the one seen, Egypt's sand's in the another, and some from the Africa, and the South America.
@JBM425 Yes I agree with that. And I think the reason why they sound so much better in Russian than English. The songs were written in Russian and not English.

I like Selena too. At least she doesn't lip sync EVERY time she sings! so i respect her more for that
