Hi farangthony. Thanks for watching and commenting. I can confirm your spelling together with my spelling, along with other variations of spellings are the same dish. The Phad Kaphera Ki is probably more suited to assist with the vocal pronunciation of the dish for those trying to learn the Thai language in more detail, and is a variation that appears on google when searching for this dish. Sadly where I live in the U.K., the amazing holy basil is not readily available to us, so we do have to improvise and use normal sweet basil instead. Thank you once again for watching. DrZ🙏🏻
I’m sorry to interrupt but the pronunciation should be ka-phrao not ka-phe-ra (as the latter one are how people mispronounce the name, by spelling in Thai กะ-เพรา (ka-phrao) are 2 syllables and กะ-เพ-รา (ka-phe-ra) are 3 syllables, and it’s not existed in Thai.

Looks like pad kaphrao gai, what does kaphera ki mean? Also that´s definitely regular basil not kaphrao (holy basil).
